I just checked the 10 day forecast on weather channel.com and it says thunderstorms next week. I hope that means the usual scattered thunderstorms. I don't wanna get rained out!!

It is acutally going to be drier than it has been. It will be your typical afternoon showers. www.wftv.com is a great local weather station.

I wouldn't take it too seriously yet. I mean, 10 days ahead of time is still too early. I remember several times where the forecast completely changed over the course of the ten days. Some things speed up or slow down, it just depends.

Knowing Disney, there will be the occasional afternoon shower but that's nothing to worry about as they are done in 10 mins.

In Florida in the summer the daily forecast will always include thunderstorms.

This does not mean it will rain all day. The norm is a heavy, sometimes intense thunderstorm in the late afternoon, good time for a nap or some down time in the room.

Yep, Florida + summer = daily afternoon thunderstorms (usually)

We get used to it down here. Anything you want to do outside you usually have to do before 2pm. Most of the time it will clear up in a while and be nice again in the evening.

I just watched the weather and there is a tropical depression heading into the Gulf named Cindy. Not sure how it's going to affect Florida, except for some rain. But did see another one forming near Cuba and should start heading that way during the week. You should take a look at the weather channel as you get closer to your trip. I have a trip in 2 weeks and the pounchos are packed. I can deal with an afternoon rain, but don't want to be there for a hurricane. Now that Cindy has been named, it already makes the third named storm already for the season....boy it sure seems early, but looks like another active year...ugh!

We arrive from very hot, very dry, Northern California Thursday. Just took a look at the Orlando 10 day forecast... It doesn't matter. We'll be at DISNEY!
