I usually just get a poster size photo printed, which I've made up using Elements of all my magnets. Then I cut them to size and stick magnets on them. I wanted to try something different this time. So I don't have a printer that is nice enough that I just want to home-print on magnetic paper, which I understand many people do.
I was thinking of using someone like Vistaprint and making a car magnet sized print, then cutting it to size. My concern is that it might be too thick to actually cut through unless I'm using some kind of industrial strength scissors or box cutters. Has anyone ever done this?
My other option is to use Staples or Blacks (Cdn printing company) to make magnetic backed posters. These could be a little thinner, but I'm told they're still thicker than, say those magnetic business cards. So that puts me back to gluing a magnet on the back of a printed project.
Anyone have any other ideas? Or have you used those commercial magnets and cut them to size?
