This is a questions for all who have recently returned from the world. Have you noticed any difference since all the layoffs happened? I mean subtle or obvious, in the parks or the resorts, with front line or support cast..
just wondering.

Most of the layoffs were not front line cast members, so I would say nobody would notice any difference.

I didnt notice any difference at all. I had a problem that required a room change and it was handled promptly and fast with no questions asked. I ran into only one crancky cm at MK during our dolewhip meet. Otherwise we had fantastic service.:goodvibes

Just got back on the 5th and I was wondering the same thing before I left. I have to say.... I did not notice any difference in service level compared to last year, same time. Crowd level was also on par with last year's attendance. It was a great 8 days in the World!

We have been here since 5/1. We haven't noticed a difference from our trip last May. The crowds have been very managable.

We did talk to a bus driver that said he has to bid for his job next week. There are 1200 +/- busdrivers. He is 400th in senority. He is afraid that he will not get a 40 hour per week job let alone a daylight hours job.

Here's to an improvement in the economy....considering how much we are leaving here, it should help it somewhat! :goodvibes
