:goodvibes A couple of years back but after 9/11 some suzy sunshine tried to smuggle cocaine through philly airport in her tube of lipstick and the first thing I thought was "I will personally beat her to a pulp if they now prohibit me from wearing lipstick" ;)

My dad who was a ny city cop was never amazed at some of the things the 'bad guys" do. He had a simply philosophy, 'for every alarm or security system we put in place, there is a bad guy out there trying to figure out how to get around it"

This has been the truth since "evil' first appeared. All we can do is try and stay 1 step ahead of the game.

I have, but this was before the new screening came into effect. A few years ago in college I did a semester abroad. I was late to the gate, the last one to board, actually, and right at the gate a female agent said she had to do a pat down. I don't know if it was because I was all flustered from running and it made her suspicious, but I held my arms out to the sides and she felt my arms, legs all the way up, my sides and around my breasts with the back of her hand. This was in addition to the regular security line I went through. It happened so fast that I didn't have time to feel I was being violated in any way.

This was at Heathrow in London.
