Each week SWA has been doing a "Feature destination" and offering really good rates. This week is Orlando - I just got my DISCon tickets for $135 Round trip from Nashville.

Southwest is offering some special fares to Orlando, but you've got to move quick! They are only good through this Thursday, Aug. 8th. As an example, we can fly from Norfolk, VA to Orlando for $97 rt!

I guess there's not going to be any great bargains from up here - looks like $189 r/t from Albany for my dates. I could cut it down to $151 if I took a day off my trip- no way that's going to happen

Karen, I was in the same boat as you, (Dec 1 and 2) are blackout dates. So instead of making the trip shorter, I added a few days. We are going to fly in on Friday the 29th. That will make 10 days at WDW for us - that is a record for us. Our longest WDW stay so far has only been 6 days.

I am in the same boat as the you both...I HAVE to fly out on the 1st of December, so it looks like I might be paying a high rate this time...DH works on that Saturday night and our Cruise leaves on Sunday, so it is the 1st or nothing for us!!

Thanks for the heads up on the airfare. As soon as I read your post I went and booked my trip. I actually had to add 1 day to get a non-stop flight, but I got it for 62.33 one way. 75.50 after taxes and security fees. AND it's non-stop both ways. ( I hate landing!!!) THANKS again.
