Have you gone bag less, any advice?

I used to go bagless all the time when I had cargo shorts that fit. I haven't been able to find new plus size ones so I've been bringing in a backpack.
I kind of like having a backpack - when I buy small stuff like pins I can put them in there instead of sending them to the front of the park and dealing with that line at the end of the day and I like having bottled water so that fits in the side pocket.
I went one day on my last trip without a bag and kept thinking I was forgetting something every time I got off a ride. LOL

Because I went to the parks before they opened that trip, bag check wasn't long. I was picked to go in nearly every metal detector even though I went through bag check - didn't take long since I didn't have a thing in my tiny pockets.

I so wish I could be bagless. We are going end of January. We usually need jackets in the AM and then I roll it up and throw it in a string bag during the day. But I envy all of you going bagless. I don't have cargo pants to store everything in. But I do have a new lanyard that holds my license, credit card, and some cash so I'm halfway to bagless I guess. Maybe I could stash my phone and tissues in my jacket pocket and just carry my jacket all day.

This is the perfect time to use a locker for your jacket. That's what we did last week. Way better than carrying a jacket all day

So get a small string bag--fold it up and put it in your pocket. Wear your jacket. Boom, bagless! We did this bag in a pocket trick for the MNSSHP last year so we could use the backpack to carry any candy we ended up getting.

I go bagless all the time. I carry a small "wallet" that holds ID and cash and fits in my back pocket. Phone in other pocket. I usually take a snack sized ziplock with a couple of bandaids and a few advil. If I need anything else, I can buy it in the park. My adult son wears cargo shorts on days when we think it will rain and he carries our rain ponchos in his pockets. I'd just go without the rain poncho if it wouldn't fit in a pocket and buy one in the park needed.

Do we need cash/change for the locker? How much?
The lockers inside the park are not coin operated. You pay for them at a kiosk near the lockers. $7. You pay $12 and get $5 back when you return the key. You can also rent a locker for no additional cost if you hop.
There are lockers outside some parks that are coin operated. We use large luggage lockers at Epcot that are near the bus stops (so outside security too) on our departure day. These are $1, 4 quarters only. I know HS also has coin lockers outside the park (and security) but I can't remember how much they are, probably $1 too.
