Have you every Dreamed about your Cruise?

I had a dream last night that we were on our cruise, but everything was wrong. DS wouldn't stay in the clubs, they were dirty and flooded, I was trying to read my dinner rotation from the back of the KTTW card but I could get close enough to read it and when I did it said K-Y-N-O and I didn;t know where the restaurants were!! And to top it all off, I was trying to read my navigator, which was about 10 pages long, and the pages blew all over the place and I couldn't find my highlighter anywhere and then I started to cry!!!!

I think I need to take a deep breath and get a grip!! Things have been super busy at work and home and I have been thinking I can't wait for a vacation - but I really don't want re-curring vacation nightmares!!

Anyone else have any funny/silly dreams before or after their vacation??

aaaahhhhhhh the Dream!

Yep, we've all had them!! My favorite was a Fantasy Dream where I boarded and they kept handing me free drinks!

Before our first cruise, I had a nightmare. I was dreaming that there were sharks swimming under the ship, that is all I can remember....maybe that's a good thing! I still went on the cruise w/no problem, but what a weird dream.

yup but they are always nutty! We miss the ship, we can;t find our docs. we are on the Western when we booked the Eastern. Ended up in Cuba once, Castro was a very nice fella.
Best one was the NY Yankees were on board----then last November Mike Stanton (former Yankee pitcher) really was with us. Hmmm.....Still waiting for Derek Jeter

Just this week I had a dream that my co-worker (who has "been there, done that" in life ten times over no matter what the situation is) was sitting next to me talking to someone named "Lorenzo" at DCL asking if there were any vacancies on the cruise NEXT WEEK (she always has to beat me to everything!! LOL!). He must have said yes, because she said "Okay, I'll take it." and hung up the phone. She didn't even ask how much it would cost, just that she'll take it. In the dream I was annoyed that she was going to be cruising before me!

Oh, yeah. The other night I had a series of dreams -- not like a sequential story, just random things. First we were assigned a table with people who did nothing but complain and gripe about EVERYThing -- the food, the service, their rooms, just on and on. Ended up eating room service.

Then we were trying to rebook onboard but put it off til the last minute and were running around on disembarkation day refusing to get off the ship until we had talked to the reservation agent.

Then we were on the boat and overslept and didn't get off in time and it sailed again with us still on. This might have been a good thing if someone hadn't finally realized we were still there and had the Port Canaveral harbor master come get us off before the boat sailed into the open sea.

I've got to stop eating Mexican before bed.

Dreams .. Dreams... who has time for dreams. I feel like i never leave this board. I find one thing after the other to read, then the next then just one more. My DH says he's starting to hate the computer.

how funny!! i thought it was just me ! i have had 2 so far.

1. we were taken to our stateroom and it was a loft ( very cool ) i also had a GREAT body and a nice tan!! i was already in my bikini. ( should have known it was a dream at this point because this is not the case in real life! LOLOLOL

2. we went to our stateroom and went and open and shut every drawer and cabinet . were very impressed with it until we realized that we had paid for a cat 3 and this was a inside stateroom. so we go to the check in counter and explained what happened. they said sorry and then handed us our room key, but with no directions as to where our room was . so we finally find it and go inside.... and there stands the older couple that we had a nice conversation with before our trip. we talk about being roomies and sleeping arangements and how this could be fun and thank goodness we all get along. then it dawns on me that we each had paid for seperate suites. i call the front desk and they say that since the older couple were there first they get the room and that i need to come back to the front. so my dh and i go back up to the front and i am not a happy camper at this . ( we have had to drag all of our luggage around throughout the whole ordeal ) so we are at front desk AGIAN and they are having Bell, the musical. and hubby leans down and said " sweetie dont be upset, look there's Bell. "

A few months ago I dreamt that we checked in at the port and found out we'd been upgraded from category 11 to category 8 and the CM was showing me how much I'd have to pay to then upgrade to the category 3!!

i seem to have the same dream over and over again. when we board the ship its thru the engine room and then there seems to be no in between decks as we suddenly appear on deck 10 an right down beside the water. weird.

I just had a dream the other night that I got to port and forgot our Birth Ceftificates, so I decide I'll just run home to get them because we have about 5 hours before we set sail. Well, this would be just fine, but we live in Chicago!!

You would think that I would check to see that they are still all together, but nope, still haven't.

Yep...I started the dreams last week. 20 years ago we went to Hawaii and I dreamed about it for 10 years after! Now I go into my backyard and smell the Plumeria I got to remind me of our trip. Those dreams stopped. Now I am thinking what kind of smell can I bring home from my first cruise so I can relive it for 10 years!
My first DCL dream was the night we watched the DVD they sent me! I am always reading these boards and my husband walks by and says" Are your cruising in your dreams again?"
Oh yeah... I ordered all our birth certificates today! Don't want to have the nightmare that I forgot that!

I have had the same dream about our upcoming cruise several times. I dream that we have some trouble getting on the ship, but we do and think that everything is fine. So we go to our cabin and take a nap. Only our nap lasts the entire cruise. I wake up so mad thinking that I have just lost all our cruise to sleep! I have that dream!
