Disney says not to do this. Your morals can make your call, but the risk if when the airline loses your luggage neither you or Disney will know if for HOURS and if you miss the filing deadline for the complaint with the airline....too bad for you. (Disney does not look for luggage unless you check in to get on the bus...)

we sort of did, my girls and I took ME (they like the video and think the bus ride is fun!) DH got our car and came over- 1 we didnt have to worry about how much luggage we had fitting in the car, 2 we got to the resort at the same time (maybe 5 minutes difference) for our return it was pretty much the same, he took the car ME took us and the luggage.

After posting this my husband said YA NO we are not doing this. We are sticking to the original plan of renting the car from the car care centre for only half the week. It was only a thought, that I had obviously never thought it through before I posted. So please don't throw me to the wolves!! I am just frustrated because I never booked my car rental long ago when the price was much cheaper I didn't know they change the prices as this is our first car rental. So once again I am sorry for the question

But if you are not sure you will be renting a car or taking Magical Express, do make the DME reservation in advance as needed. You can cancel DME later if you won't need it.

Car rental prices can change daily! I don't know when you are going, but I would check every morning and night. I have seen changes throughout a day, but usually it is only 1 change a day if any.

Check the thread for the month you are going for codes/coupons. Prices do drop as the dates get closer.
