Have you ever worn your pajamas...

Have you worn your pajamas while taking your kids to the bus stop or school?

  • Yes, I do it all the time.

  • Yes, but only a couple of times.

  • No, but I might in an emergency.

  • No way! I wouldn't be caught dead in my pj's.

while taking your kids to school or the bus stop?
(Any type of pj's- t-shirt, boxers, pj pants, baby dolls, teddy...)

please define "pj's"
that could be
flannel pants with tee
flannel pants with flannel shirt
sweat pants
"baby doll nighty"
boxers/tank
boxers/tee
boxers only
tee only

Yep! Slippers and all! Never any revealing lingerie or anything... but boxers or winnie the pooh pants and t-shirts... why not? No one's going to see you (except the dirty men in the that can see right into your car from their high seating in their big-rigs.) hahahahaa

You, who wears heels with jeans would even ask the question???? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No, I haven't, but I have worn my slippers in the van dropping off my son at school.

Funny that you ask this today, though. This morning my DH volunteered to walk my son to the bus stop. I was still in my pj'srobe, and slippers and I told my 6yo that I was going to walk him to the bus stop like that because I didn't have time to change clothes. He laughed, but said ok. I thought it was so cute! I then told him his dad was walking him and he was probably relieved. :rotfl2: It won't be very many more years (or months) before Jake would be totally embarrassed about me going to the bus stop in my pj's. :goodvibes

I've done it a couple times this year. The bus picks my DD up in our driveway so only the bus driver sees me.

OT sees looks really weird that can not be right.

Yes, but most of the time my jammies are t-shirts and thin sweat pants, so they don't look like jammies at all.

I only take my son to the bus stop when it's raining and I'm in the middle of getting ready for work at that time, so I usually wear a gown and a robe. I wouldn't drive him to school without throwing on sweats or something, though.

Yes 1 time since I just go through drop off line at school, but wait we were late that day so I had to walk into the office sign him in as tardy and walk him to class  So I haven't done it again and won't do it again! Now slippers though I could do that.

Reminds me of a friend of mine. She has a sweatshirt and some pants that she sleeps in alot. She got called to go pick up her DD at school because she was sick. So, she just put on her shoes and went on. Her DD comes down the hall and says very loudly, "MOM!! Why are you wearing your pajamas at school!!!!" She was so embarrassed. Everyone laughed, and she said, "Well, because no one would have known if you had not of just told them!!"

I sleep in sweats in the winter and shorts and a t-shirt in the summer so -- yeah, I have but it's not obvious. :teeth:

Oh yes, I do this, but only in the winter when I can wear a coat over it. LOL this is too funny.

Yes but it is cold here so it is usually fleece or flannel pants and my coat over top. Can't do the slippers much I'd get snow in then and then it would melt when I'm on the Dis and yuck. I just slip my boots on without socks!

One time my son left his lunch in the back seat, I saw it right after he got out but was already going in the door sooo I had to go home and get dressed and then run the lunch back to the school.

Once or twice. But my pjs were yoga pants and a t-shirt. So technically not pjs, but I did wear them to bed the night before.

I'd get arrested if I wore mine, ifyouknowwhatimean. Not only that, my daughter would be 150% mortified, ifyouknowwhatimean.

Let's just say, that my pajamas are 39 years old. :lmao:

 I'm filing that under "TMI."

:lmao: Too cute!

I wear a tshirt and sweats to bed just in case because anything could happen.

I have had to respond to a fire alarm once and get everyone out and a few times I have had to walk in to the school to drop off my kids, but folks don't know I'm in my jammies. :teeth: If one of my dds shouted it outloud I think I'd be mortified. lol

naaahhhh. would hate to be in an accident wearing my pj's.

ok, maybe to Taco Bell at 1 in the morning.

:confused3 what I dont understand, one of the moms at my DD's school. puts her makeup on in the parking lot. :confused3 My head is too big to see all of it in the rearview mirror at one time. :confused3

I don't have kids but,

when my DH was taking down the above ground pool that came with our house, he asked me to come out and hold something for him. Next thing you know, I am out there all morning in my pink flannel pajamas and pink slippers taking down a pool!

No, my kids are to young for school, but if they were in school, most definately. Right now I am a SAHM and I wear my pj's (bedtime pants and t-shirt) everywhere. I run to the store in them, I run to the mail box in them. When I take a shower I change my pj's into clean pjs, LOL.

I even found my own blinkie about me:

Yes- Last week when i was sick with broncitis and a sinus infection. It took all I had to roll out of bed and just get my daughter off to school.
