Aside from $5 from a lottery ticket and YOAMD Mouse Ears at the Magic Kingdom, I've never won anything

How about you? What sort of cool prizes have you won & from where?

I won $500.00 from McDonalds when they were doing the Monopoly game. It was an instant win peeled off a soda cup....let me tell you it wasn't so instant though, probably more like 6 months before I got the check!

I won two things from a local radio contest.

One was $1000. The second time about 2 years later I won an all expense paid trip for 4 to Disney World It even included food for the week.

How did you win the cruise?

I won $10,000 on a local lottery about 17 years ago and then a group of us at work won a car on the same lottery last year. When we sold it we all ended up with about $1500 each. Those were the biggest things I've ever won.

I recently won Cirque du Soleil tickets for a show on July 12 from a radio station, i have won tickets to see Creed, and John Melloncamp. I got chosen to meet Dale Ernhardt and 1300.00 on a slot machine.

My dd26 recently won a "Coach" handbag. Not sure exactly what kind of contest it was, but the bag is valued at $1500. She doesn't want to keep it, so she will attempt to sell it on ebay or craig's list, or one of those sites.

Not sure how much she'll ask for it, but I'm sure an amount under $1500.

Entering radio contests has worked well for us...
I won at trip to WDW, tickets to a Monster Truck Rally, Globetrotters tickets, and DS won Festival of Lights tickets with some extas one Christmas season.

I've won tickets to a haunted house (Halloween time) by calling into a local tv station. That's about it.

My grandmother, however, won $1 mil in the AZ lottery, and a distant uncle also won between $1-$2 mil in the lottery (I think that one was in Maryland?). I wonder if lightning will strike three times in our family? I'd love to be the third!

In Atlantic City I won big 2 times, first time we had just gotten there maybe 10 minutes earlier and I hit for $1000. The second time we were there about 1/2 hour and I hit for $3125.00. I have won concert tickets and other things from the radio station also.

I won a weekend in Laughlin from the Kiwanas Club at their gambling night thingie.

I would LOVE to start doing contests. My granddad was a huge contest-enterer and he won cases of dog food, wine, a few trips...but the magazine he had used to find entries went away. How do you find them now?

In the past month, DH has won $200 for one scratch off lottery ticket, then $100 from another.

I won hockey tickets from the tv station

I didn't think anyone did either! I was by myself and wanted so badly for someone else to read it just to make sure I was reading it right!

I keep telling myself that my day will come and I will win something. I haven't won anything yet, not even a pin or ears during the YOAMD. I enter all sorts of contest, but none of them were my turn to be a winner yet.

We didn't win but we came sooo close I got the Park Place tab and Ds said that he had Boardwalk at home in his pants pocket - if you have both you win $1,000,000. He swears he had it, and DH confirmed. Needless to say he lost it We looked everywhere, in the garbage, the vacuum cleaner... never found it.

But in high school I won concert tickets and then later the whole album library of Trooper. This was way back in the 70s. Trooper was (is) a Canadian band, most of you guys would likely never have heard of them.

I won tickets to an Atlanta Braves game in middle school. DD won a Disney Princess cordless phone about 6 years ago- there was a sweepstakes on Disney.com. We also won YOAMD ears at the ToT in January 2007. That's all I can think of. I keep hoping we'll win a WDW trip- we enter every Disney sweepstakes that comes along!
