I always wanted to try one since I hate to shave and I am pretty bad at it. I always end up with lots of nicks. However, I have been afraid to try one after hearing how bad the Epilady hurt...maybe I will have to look at this new one.

Browneyes yes that is it. It is cheaper in the States although with the exchange I'm not sure of that. Now as to saying hi to jack I think that Pop Daddy has said it enough for everyone. I mean if everyone hijacks this then where will it go?

I got my legs waxed before my wedding -- have you ever waxed? How does the pain compare? Waxing really wasn't too bad, but I wasn't actually doing it myself. It's easier to let other people hurt me.

The difference between waxing and the epilady is night and day. Waxing doesn't hurt at all when you get used to it, and only minimally when you first start. Epilady, OTOH, should be marketed in an S&M shop because it is absolute torture.

Maybe I'll try one of the newer devices if they aren't as bad as the original one.

I never had someone else wax my legs I did it myself. I waxed for years before I came upon the epilady. With the epilady it hurt a little more than the waxing (although I had been doing it for several years at that point) but I kept going and it hurt less and less till I was fine with it. This new one though I did try a little bit on my dd who shaves and she said that it wasn't that bad. She thought it would have hurt a lot more because I had tried the Epilady on her.
