Have you ever stayed at the Boardwalk Inn??

I am a DVC member with my home resort at BWV and have stayed there numerous times but this Dec for the first time ever we are transferring over to BWI for the last 2 nights of our stay from BWV.
How is Boardwalk Inn? We absolutely love the villas side and are looking forward to trying the Inn side. If you have stayed in both are the BWI rooms as large as a studio in BWV? I know that we will not have the kitchenette but that is no big deal for 2 nights.

We've stayed at both the Inn and the Villas a few times. During our 4th of July trip, we split our stay like you are planning to do.
I think we may be alone in our opinion, but we like the Inn better. On that trip, we had a very pretty garden view, we were on the 5th floor, not far from the elevator. We could see and hear Epcot from our room too.
We liked having the bigger vanity with double sinks rather than having the kitchenette with less counterspace and one sink. Like you said, it was only for 2 nights so we didn't need the fridge and microwave.
I'm not sure why, but the rooms in the Inn always seem brighter and cleaner to me.
We are not DVC owners but we rent points quite often. The deals are great! If the price was the same, and we were only staying for a few days, I would choose the Inn over the Villas.
We are staying in a studio for Christmas. My Mom and daughter will be at the Inn. I'm anxious to compare the two again.
BTW, when the Boardwalk was new, we stayed in a one bedroom right on the Boardwalk. We loved that!
