My wife and I are considering a 3-night escape to the Don CeSar resort in St. Pete. Most of the reviews seem favorable, but I'm a bit nervous about their "pet-friendly" environment.
Please understand that I am not an anti-pet person; in fact, I have a delightfully clueless Golden Retriever that I rather enjoy.
But I NEVER get to take a trip with my wife sans kids. All I need is to drop a bunch of cash on a 3-day beach trip only to have someone's "Fido" wake/keep us up every night. The hotel claims that pets are only allowed in certain rooms, but I know a dog's bark can really carry.
Should I worry or not?
