Long story short, I'm seriously considering splitting my stay between 3 resorts. I'll be 2 nights at BWV (DVC points), 3 nights Dolphin, 3 nights AKL. I'm having a very tough time deciding between the Dolphin and AKL (I *love* both resorts), so I thought the best situation would be to split the stay. Comments? Suggestions? I'll be traveling to WDW solo (single female, mid-20's).

I have stayed at The Hard Rock, Dolphin and ASMU (HS band trip) all in one trip. I like having a change. It was in the summer, so we didn't have a lot of luggage to pack and unpack. We did have a rental car though. I'm not sure if I would change 2 times if I didn't have the car to drive from resort to resort.

If you decide not to split between the Dolphin and AKL, I would choose the AKL. You are already staying in the Epcot area for 3 nights, and the AKL would be a really different.

I forgot to mention that I will have a rental car, so that will definately help.

The AKL is $400 more than the Dolphin (over a 6 night period), so that's the major reason why I want to split my stay. I stay at the Dolphin frequently, so I want a change, but I can't justify $400. By splitting the stay 3 nights at each, I'll have the best of both worlds, and that $400 difference is cut in half to $200.

I think you'd have a great time staying in 3 resorts. Whenever I go, I'm usually at more than 1 place so I always live out of my suitcase. This trip we'll be at 4 places in 10 days - 1 night the Swan, 1 @ the HR, 4 @ OKW and a 4-night cruise.

Enjoy!!! :cool1:

We did that once, and felt like we spent a lot of time packing and unpacking. I'd never do more than two resorts in the future.

same here...we did 3 resorts once too....will limit to 2 at the most .
too much packing + unpacking....time spent at the desks adds up ....
instead of spending the fuill day at a park u end up going late or leaving early to check into new resort....its pretty draining doing it 3 times

I think doing 3 resorts with 3 nights each is fine. Doing 1 or two nights a piece gets tiring, but 3 nights is plenty of time to unwind and get to experience the resort. We've done 3 resorts during nearly every trip--it's me and my son (he's six now). We love doing that--Disney moves your stuff and there's the transportation always running so it's no problem for us. This next trip we're staying in 3 places--Beach club villas, Polynesian and AKL. :cool1:
