Have you ever NOT....

The only trip I will do laundry would be our Christmas trip. Can't pack enough of the right kind of clothes the weather is so iffy.

I did have to throw a couple pairs of shorts in the washer in July when the kids rode Kali River Rapids 3 times and their belts made colored marks on their shorts. My family was at the volcano pool while I walked back and forth to the laundry.

It's never even crossed my mind to do laundry on vacation! Our last vacation was 9 days with 2 kids and I just packed enough clothes to last. We usually change clothes for dinner, too, so that basically doubles the amount of clothes. This time we'll be going for 10 days with 3 kids and I'm still not planning on doing laundry. Of course, it's a nightmare when we get home, (and packing to leave as well!), but hey, it's a price I'm willing to pay!

I have a friend who always takes nice newish clothes on their trips but saves up all the marginal underwear that is nearing the limit of being trashed and packs it for trips. They wear and throw...Creates space in the suitcase, no dirty undies to be searched at the airport and less laundry when she gets home...A win /win situation.......;)

I always do laundry while on vacation. I can't stand dragging tons of luggage through the airport(s) and DS can make his outfit dirty in 10 minutes sometimes. "But Mom..." :teeth:

5 0r 6 days we have done... It is way to much to pack for any longer...

We often do laundry, although I won't sit around in the laundry room and wait for it, just squeeze it in during down time in the room or by the pool----I'm not really worried about someone stealing my shorts.

Out of all of our trips, we have only done laundry once, and that was this past time. Since my husband played golf in the middle of the day, and it was in the high 80's, it became necessary...lol!

Dh did it himself, while I took DD to the parade at the MK (see, I do have him trained right!) He said the laundry facilities (we were at PO-FQ) were nice. It was $2 per load for washer and also for the dryer, and the cycles lasted 30 minutes. The laundry was right around the corner from the pool bar, so he had a beer and watched TV while he was waiting.

It was nice not to be faced with all of that dirty laundry as soon as we arrived home, too!

I don't watch my clothes either:rolleyes: . But, the BWI laundry room and the one at the Polynesian are not that close to the pool. Walking back and forth in the heat of the day in July is not pleasant.

I just sort my laundry into bags as we take it off and dump it right into the laundry when we get back.
