I have met Gary Allan and Kenny Chesney.

I met Gary :lovestruc after a concert. My friend and i just kinda hung around afterwards and he came out and talked to us!!! This wasn't at a big venue or anything. It was at a Bike Fest in VA Beach at a campground. It was AWESOME. :cheer2:

I met Kenny Chesney at a concert. My friend is a BIG fan and they had this thing were you had to pay $100 to get backstage to see him. It was rushed. But i still met him!

Anyone else.......

I have known Reba McEntire pretty much my whole life.

Played baseball against Roger Clemons in college.

Garth Brooks lives a couple of towns away. I've seen him in Lowe's a few times. And I talked to him at a hospital where my sister-in-law was having a baby.

I met President Bush last summer when he unexpectedly stopped at a Cheese Shop in Wisconsin where we had also stopped.

Yes - most notably Barry Williams aka GREG BRADY (!!!). He was actually quite rude. And it was at an autograph session - it wasn't like I was asking for his autograph during his dinner or something. I was slightly disillusioned, but I got over it. :)

Rascal Flatts
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Mickey Mouse - he's pretty famous, no?

Met Mark Whalberg back when he was Marky Mark in 1990
Met Steve Guttenberg that same weekend (we stayed at the same hotel as New Kids on the Block during their stay in NY)
Met Keanu Reeves after his concert in 1996
I almost forgot- Debbie Gibson a few times

But my favorite celebrity that I met came 18 years after I first developed a crush on him after seeing him in the Goonies and I still can't believe it. I met  Sean Astin  on October 13, 2004 in NYC. He was so nice even after I showed him pictures of what my wall looked like when I was 14 with his pictures all over the place. I hope he didn't think I was obsessed!

I met Carrie Fisher in a McDonald's in Malibu. I didn't realize who she was but she looked really familiar and so I said hello. We chatted for a minute--small talk kind of thing I do with everyone. My sister was mortified and asked me why I'd been "bothering" her. Well, I had no idea who she was until my sister told me when she was chastising me--apparently, it's "uncool" to talk to someone famous in LA. Yeah, like it's a big surprise that I'm uncool. :teeth:

I've actually been lucky enough to meet a bunch of the people I like, but, obviously, my favorite encounter has been with the strapping young nerd in my siggy. :lovestruc (Which anyone on the Clay thread is sick of hearing, I'm sure....)

I just wish I hadn't stepped on his toes!!

We stayed in a hotel once with the NY Yankees. Our ds got lots of autographs and pictures. They were in baseball heaven.
My cousin used to be president of some sonny and cher fan club and he stayed at their house once. He is the groupie type guy in our family. He met Lucille Ball etc. I know he is going to Super Soap week end so who knows who he will meet this time.

I've met Stephanie Powers at my job, also Jackie Zeaman (Bobby on General Hospital) also work.
I also have met some sports stars while I was in Hawaii, Wilt Chamberlin most noteably! Also got on a tram at the Denver airport this past Feb. and started talking to a really big man.........I said I sure hope you played basketball at some point in your life..........it was Bob Lanier!!! who was in town for the All Star game. But honestly I will talk to anyone as long as they are next to me!!

I met the Perdue chicken guy (Frank Perdue-he was very short like me). I met Kareem Abdul Jabbar, most of the Boston Bruins Hockey Team, Former Governor John Sununu (he wasn't very nice at all).
All of them I met while working at The Mount Washington Hotel. For the Boston Bruin's...one of the members of the team was getting married (Stephen Leach???? is he one or was he one???) and I worked in the sales dept coordinating weddings. The night before the wedding we (my friends and I) went down to the bar called The Cave and there they all were! They were very nice guys.

I'm not much for TV & movie stars. I use to go to Baseball autographs shows and got many people. These are who my "celebrities" would be.

I too met Barry Williams and got his autograph, but that was a LONG time ago. He was nice!

I just met Alton Brown last March and got him to sign a book.

I also met and got my picture taken with Robert Hays of Airplaine! fame this summer.

I went to school with Jon Bon Jovi if that counts. I also met Jason Priestly at a speed boat race that he was participating in in NJ. Many years ago I met Bobby Rydell. I was a kid at the time. We were eating in a restaurant and the waitress asked if we would like to me him. We got his autograph. Met Dick Clark when his Pyramid show was taped in NY.

Have met alot of famous people living here in New York, a special one for me was Robert Redford when I was working in the city in about 1982. Also have met Tom Selleck, Billy Gilman, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, and through my daughters acting have met Robert DeNiro, Dakota Fanning, Mariska Hargitay, Chris Merloni, S. Epatha Merkerson, Richard Belzer, Vincent Dinofrio, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Noth, Anna Paquin, Kieran Culkin, and my personal favorite, Jerry Orbach, who was the nicest guy ever.

DH and I were part of the Roger Ebert/Richard Roeper film festival on the Disney Wonder a couple of weeks ago. It was wonderful. We also met Brad Bird (of The Incredibles fame) who was also part of the film festival. He directed and wrote the screenplay for The Iron Giant. He even sat next to my husband during a screening of it on the ship. We also ran into him just hanging out by himself in one of the bars one night.

I have met Snoopy, does she count? She seems to be pretty famous around here! :)

I've met a few famous people here and there. The most recent was coach Mike Krzyzewski the Duke basketball coach. He even held my 10 month old son and discussed baby stuff with us. He comes across as a jerk on t.v. but he was really nice in person.

Ive also met Matthew Laurence (used to be on Beverly Hill 90210 as Brian Greens dad).
