Have you ever kissed in the rain?

I've done a lot in the pouring rain. Rain can be pretty great. When my son was little, we'd walk barefoot in the rain. He still loves doing that. My dh and I have camped, in a tent, in the pouring rain for a whole weekend. Our tent was sealed so well that when the water came up around it, the sides floated, lol!

My bf and I's first weekend away together was to Chicago. We took the train to a White Sox game at the new stadium. It started pouring rain during the game and the game was eventually cancelled. By that time there was hardly anyone left in the stadium. We had to run back to the train and then run through the city FOREVER to get back to the hotel (I was too cheap to let him get a taxi). About halfway back he grabbed me and kissed me :lovestruc. We were already completely soaked and the city and moment were so beautiful.

We've also kissed in the pouring rain in Epcot last August. It was after closing and the park was nearly dead. All of the shops had locked their doors (it was an EMH night) and it started to downpour. There was nowhere to go (except under an over hang but it didn't look like it was going to let up for a long time) and we were a long way from the busses. The music was still playing in the park around the fountain so we danced and kissed. It was so magical (especially since no one was around and it felt like the park was ours).

Can't say that I have. I also can't say that I ever wanted to try it, or want to do so now.

As a person with naturally curly hair I can't see how I'd enjoy it when all i can think of in the rain is "HAIR, HAIR, HAIR, FRIZZING NOW, GEL IS GOOEY, HAIRSPRAY WILL FORM A HELMET... WHAT A MESS"
What I didn't add to my original post was that I had blow dried my very thick, very curly hair straight for the hot date! Drizzle turned to rain...I had a 'fro, but I think I already had him hooked, TG!:rotfl2:

Oh yes.. :)

We'll kiss just about anywhere, anytime.

That's so me. I'm hoping to change that soon with Keratin treatment! I'll put "kissing in the rain" on my list of things I will then be able to do without thinking about my frizzy hair!
I'd be so worried I'd end up with seaweed and/or deceased sea creatures draped upon my body when they wash up with the tide that I doubt I'd ever be able to enjoy something like that.
And sand where it doesn't belong. Ouch.

:scared1: I hadn't even considered that. That's way scarier than a dead crab dangling off of my toe.

Better than live crabs...in many ways...if you get my drift...:rotfl2:

My first kiss ever was in a park in a wicked rainstorm. I got the flu afterward...but at the time..........pure bliss!!!!!

you know what else i never got? people trying to walk with their arms around each other's waists. :lmao: it just looks so awkward and uncomfortable. :lmao:
and the beach thing. :confused3 ewww
it's soooo hot. and since you're hot, you're all sticky. and then sand sticks to you EVERYWHERE!!!! plus i'm super fair skinned. in the heat my cheeks get as red as tomatoes and the freckles pop out everywhere too!!! just not sexy or romantic in my book!

Yep :goodvibes

Like another PP, I LOVE the rain and drag DH to play in it all the time! We live in Florida so it's usually hot and steamy and so much fun!

I don't mean a quick kiss, I mean one of those long, lingering kisses like in the movies where the couple doesn't even notice they are drowning because they are "in love"?

I am so unromantic, I always wonder why they don't get out of the rain and THEN kiss. I also don't like standing in the rain getting soaked.

Yes - exactly one time in my life when I was in college. It was with someone I had a major crush on. We had already been kissing when the rain started coming down. Everything just became more passionate once the rain started.

This memory brings a smile to my face every time I think about it! :cloud9:

Yes but it has been awhile. Maybe I should drag dh out next time it rains and try it again!

Dh and I can't even walk while holding hands. I've got freakishly long arms. It just doensn't work. My arm is bent and bouncing up and down.

can't recall that happening but I'm certainly not opposed to it...I got waterproof mascara and hey, not much ya can do about nipplage:confused3:rotfl:

Yes. We're very outdoorsy, and rain just happens sometimes. Was it everything the movies made it out to be? Frankly, yes, but I found the kissing that occurred under a waterfall more romantic even if that much water falling that hard is a bit intense, just because hard rain hadn't knocked leafmold and trail debris up to my knees. I guess a little inclement weather is no obstacle to love.

Try having a spouse on a 6 month deployment and on the day the ship comes home, it is raining. You don't notice anything.....not even that it is 40 degrees outside. You just don't care. He did not care that I looked like a drowned rat. That was definitely one of the more memorable homecomings!

I know that kiss. When they've been gone on deployment, nothing else matters once you lay eyes on them again.
