I don't mean a quick kiss, I mean one of those long, lingering kisses like in the movies where the couple doesn't even notice they are drowning because they are "in love"?

I am so unromantic, I always wonder why they don't get out of the rain and THEN kiss. I also don't like standing in the rain getting soaked.

Count me as unromantic too because to me it's just uncomfortable and distracting! :lmao: I also don't like sharing showers. Even when you have little kids and share a tub or shower with them? Nope, I maybe did it once or twice to help them out, but I hated it.

Try having a spouse on a 6 month deployment and on the day the ship comes home, it is raining. You don't notice anything.....not even that it is 40 degrees outside. You just don't care. He did not care that I looked like a drowned rat. That was definitely one of the more memorable homecomings!

Of course, every kiss dh and I share is just like it is in the movies  Although there was this one time a very very long time ago when we were young and in love and reckless and it was raining and dh and I ............. :rolleyes1

Just once. But DH and I did it because of the cliche. We were soaked in the rain, turned to look at each other, and then yelled "Movie Kiss!" and then made out like teenagers. Good stuff.

Yep! I love the rain! When it starts to rain (in the summer) I drag DH out into it for a walk or to play. Then you come in, grab a towel, and make hot chocolate. :cloud9: So I have spun around, danced, and walked barefoot in the grass, jumped in puddles, and kissed in the rain. It's good for the soul.

DH and I had our first kiss in the rain. We had gone to Six Flags and it started raining. It was dark, and pouring, and we couldn't find the car! We looked for almost an hour. I decided once we found it, I was going to kiss him! He unlocked my door, and before he could open it for me, I did. I'm like that!;)

Once. Likely due to that song that says "when you kissed me in the warm September rain" that was pretty popular at the time. I'm sure the guy thought he was pretty darned romantic for doing it, and since I was 14..I thought so, too ;)

absolutely and loved it. Then we did some more and I liked it even better! So, any chance I get - sure! I find it hot stuff!

Yes, once. Oddly enough, it was with a friend of a friend that I'd met at a Penny Pitchers night at a local bar. So I guess the romance factor was somewhat minimal.

Alright, I have been married for 20 years and I don't ever remember standing in the pouring rain & kissing, BUT it's on my list of things to do now. :rotfl2:

Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain!! :dance3:

No - don't like the rain. DH knows better than to stop & kiss me in the rain. In fact - it's to his advantage if he drops at the door when it's raining! :upsidedow

Edited to add...........who am I kidding about stopping to be kissed in the rain. I run from one place to the other with an umbrella when it's raining - there is no stopping for anything!

Can't say that I have. I also can't say that I ever wanted to try it, or want to do so now.

As a person with naturally curly hair I can't see how I'd enjoy it when all i can think of in the rain is "HAIR, HAIR, HAIR, FRIZZING NOW, GEL IS GOOEY, HAIRSPRAY WILL FORM A HELMET... WHAT A MESS"

I always wanted to do the beach, in the surf thing, like Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr in "From Here to Eternity". I never got the chance. Darn! :goodvibes

Yes! It was wet and steamy and oh so romantic! And on those rare occasions when we get to shower together DH knows if he kisses me like he did that first time in the rain he will be a very lucky guy :lmao:

I'd be so worried I'd end up with seaweed and/or deceased sea creatures draped upon my body when they wash up with the tide that I doubt I'd ever be able to enjoy something like that.

It's not all they made it out to be. I almost drowned. So not sexy to be sputtering and hacking up salt water.
