Have you ever had to walk out of a movie?

I haven't walked out in a movie theatre, but i've walked out on watching movies at home. Most recent was Over Her Dead Body. Watched about 5 mins and then left the room.

I liked the Golden Compass, though I had read the book already so I knew what was to happen, and I also liked that part of the movie was filmed in Greenwich :p

Actually, a lot of the movies mentioned, I really enjoyed.

No because I don't go to the movies that often. The last movie I saw in theaters was Slumdog (March 2009), prior to that was The Dark Knight twice (July 2008). Earlier was The Simpsons Movie (Sept. 2007.) Before that was Sydney White in August 2007.

If I hadn't been with a group party at Cinemark with uber comfy chairs, I would've walked out on When a Stranger Calls. My friends teased me because I thought it was insanely scary. I had nightmares for weeks.

I shut off Atonement after the intro. Way too boring.

ohh no i loved Atonement! the book is really good too

we watched this lifetime movie about a girl that cut before and i had to leave...it just hit way too close to home for me...:sad2:
and i had to again when we watched an HBO special on suicide...my health teacher was really nice about it though she let me and my friend sit outside the room until it was over

I saw the remake of the Last House on the Left, too. The rape scene was really brutal, but the original was much, much worse. Personally, I'm triggered physically instead of visually, so rape scenes don't send me into hysterics like quick physical contact does.

I stopped watching the Big Lebowski because it was really annoying.
I walked out of House of Wax because it was gross.

Usually stupid movies entertain me, so I end up loving them instead of finding them boring.

Don't feel bad about walking out of the last house on the left. I work at a theater and we had many many people ask for refunds. I only saw the end and i was shaking.

And BTW if you have to leave your movie early for any reason most theathers will give you a refund of your money or vouchers for a free ticket. You just need to speak to a manager and tell them whats going on and stuff. Our policy is we give them to anyone who needs one as long as there movie isn't 30 minutes to the end or something like that

Ya, I used to work @ a theatre, so I knew you can only get a refund 30 mins in--but it was past 30 mins in, so I didn't bother. It was my choice to go see it, so I figured I wouldn't bother the staff about it--since I'm sure they get plenty of complaints about it...I know how that is. lol

I also fell asleep in both the Da Vinci Code, Superman & Day After TOmorrow

this wasn't a movie but a few years ago i was in science at school and we were watching this thing on ice (the drug) and how it affects people. it was horrible. i was crying and almost passed out from shock. i had to leave the room and my friends spent ages trying to calm me down

I've tried on several occasions to watch the Day After Tomorrow, and fall asleep or turn the tv on before it's even halfway through. I figured Jake was enough to get me through.. but no.

I've also tried watching Get Smart about 3 times, and always shut it off.

2nd harry potter movie.
i was bored to tears.
I ran out of the cinema at a certain part in the forest involving more legs and eyes than any animal needs haha.

Not really walked out of but:
-Saw (never have I seen a film bore me so much)
-The Slaughter (you get what you pay for I guess haha)

Tuck Everlasting was boring. Turned it off not even 10 minutes in.

Other than that, I've never actually walked out of a movie.

I almost walked out of Pan's Labyrinth. But I didn't.

check pluggedinonline.com for movie review that will tell you what violence/sex/language is in a movie before you see it. Even if you're not a Christian. Just read the violence parts and it'll save you some money.
