Have you ever dressed as a Disney princess as an Adult in Disney?

Last week we were in the MK and there were two women in full costume. One was dressed as the Wicked Queen and the other was dressed as Cinderella. They were very elaborate and I was quite surprised to see walking through the turnstiles. We saw them later in Fantasyland, as well.

They could have carried the gowns in, and changed once they got past security.
Unfortunately not as we walked through the gates right behind them and followed them up main street, their picture was posed for and taken by a photopass photographer. and they were not dining at CRT as we did that and we spotted them later in the afternoon still dressed up.
That day disney security must have looked the other way for people who blatantly could never be mistaken for a disney princess.

apparently dineyland paris has better security than disney world. as a side note when i was in disney world i saw a girl probably around the age of 13 or 14 walking around as a princess she walked past and little kids were trying to say hi to her. not ten steps away i saw a security team briskly walking up behind her to escort her out of the park. so i know that they enforce this rule but maybe they are more lax on some days about it.

I'm a 32 year old mom of 3...but I still love the thought of dressing up like a princess! I found some really cute - vintage/princess style dresses at www.shopruche.com Put some tiara hair clips in and you'll feel like a princess! Good luck!
(ps...I totally do not work for shopruche....I just happened upon the website!)

Oh wow! I clicked the link. What an awesome website!!!!! Those clothes are totally me!!!! It's even better than Modcloth!

this made me chuckle...all I could think was if I dressed up, some poor child would be scarred for life. They'd be thinking "wow! Cinderella looks alot older/heavier/shorter than she does on tv!" :rotfl:

You and me both. OMG.

if you are planning on going to MNSSHP you may enter with your ticket at 4 then change into your princess attire at 7 for the party. You CANNOT present yourself as the actual character though. You are NOT allowed to take pictures with other guests or sign autographs. Other than that you can dress up. MNSSHP is the only time for adults to do it so why not!

When I went they allowed you to have your costume on before 7. I packed mine just because we were eating at Crystal Palace before hand and didn't want to eat in costume. Most Party goers I saw arrived between 4 -7 and in costume. Not sure if they changed the rules on this since it was 3 years ago.

Lots of costume stores now carry adult-sized Disney costumes. I'm sure you can also easily find them online
