WELL ... the 70s boys may have been laughed at in my sisters 4-h club...HOWEVER...in the school play The Rainmaker, the character File...had to sewn his own clothes....and guess who played File?

not sure....whidby seems to ring a bell....2006 labor day weekend there was an auction. sounded great and had great stuff....but the few folks that showed up, money in their pockets...all I BOUGHT WAS MOVIE POSTERS.....spent the night on Fox island, as have done with antique friends many times. never been a fan of the area.

have you ever made a basket full of goods (baked or merch) to be auctioned for school fund raiser?

no....did not know folks still make that....frys sells at 10.00 1st of november...Pensyvian dutch egg nog....not sure of the proof though

no...not even in the Willamette Valley all those decades, weather , if extreme is mild and short term. though I think the 2021 ice storm did keep folks home...I was playing cards in yuma...so all heard was the phone and internet pics.

Sure, lots of times when it snows and road conditions are bad. (At least a few times every year.)

Nope. A few times behind a tractor, never on a major road or behind 100 other vehicles, maybe just one or two others on a small country road.

Have you ever played hide and seek with children, as an adult?

no water parks were invented long past my childhood...came close to Great Wolf in centeral west washington.

in the 60s, out of joshua tree, we would spend a week at Big Bear. the camp had a huge dock and at the end a row boat haul out of water device. we would walk out, on the pole to have, for some childish reason a better view of the lake. the ramp/fork/lift was held upright by a simple chain and snap....someone undid the snap and boom..into the summer water i went....55 years ago...still haunted by how i could be so foolish to day dream about water...so nothing like AFV feeds.

summer of 1980 putting out my teaching resume thru a university service....had a response from the oregon/idaho border school....in my ford pinto....still wet behind the ears, but should have known....did not have enough cash in my wallet to buy return back to the other side of oregon...so drove real slow in the early morning hours to not get run over. I slept in my car from 9m to about 3:am then jumped on the rural state highway and pulled into the bank of my account in the first city and contined to sleep till 10. when the bank opened....now banks open at 9.

did not get the job nor of the other 3 interviews.....finally 2 weeks into the school year, found a part time teaching job.

no....my grandmother did christmas of 1981...still family folklore...and she was not young on her return trip to oregon. and no one there to call

not for moving, at the height of the antique industry i would rent u-hauls to carry merch to shows, but have never had to move my living space...I married into a 7 bedroom home full furnished, and then married into a 3 bedroom home fully furnished. we used 2 pick-ups to travel to yuma,,,,furniture less.

nope.....I am good about not putting things on top of my car. It is high and has a rack, so hard to get to
