My parents have called to report tagging and suspected drug dealing, among other things, including loose dogs in the park (which isn't a dog park and is a regular park with a playlot, a baseball field, and tons of small kids running around.

I personally have called three times, two non-emergency and one emergency. Once was because on pedestrian bridges in Chicago, there's a permanent fixture with a life ring inside it for emergency purposes. There's a phone number printed inside to call if the glass is broken and/or the ring is missing. I was walking home from campus one day and saw that it was broken and the ring was in the river, so I called. A few days later, it was still broken, so I called again. The next day, it was fixed and the ring was back in place.

The other time I called was because around 8pm, someone's car alarm started blaring. It went on for several hours, so I called the cops. At 4am, it was still going.

Yes, called the non-emergency number and asked for a visit from the sheriff (an old schoolmate) about a "stalker" for lack of a better term.
I've been called by the police also. THAT freaked me out! What did they want from me????? But again, they were protecting me and mine, from someone I didn't even know about.
Have had to provide a deposition on one occasion due to a major accident we narrowly avoided (the guilty party was trying to claim another vehicle hit them and pushed them into the oncoming traffic, but there was no other vehicle.)
DH has also performed first aid and CPR on three occasions (all since he started taking the class annually???) and had to have others call for an ambulance on those occasions.

I have a couple of times. Most recently was last month when somebody into my car in the middle of the night. Apparently they had broken into about a half dozen cars in the neighborhood overnight. They reached into mine and grabbed a gym bag off my back seat. I don't keep anything valuable in my car, including in the gym bag, so they got nothing but smelly old gym clothes and I got a broken window.

Years ago 2 college kids were using the parking space immediately below our apartment for their frequent "meetings." They would have the windows cracked and she was quite loud at times.

Much to my dismay, DW ended up calling the police on them. I didn't see any reason ;)

several times, and at one point in time on a weekly basis.

we lived in a victorian home where our apartment looked down onto a single family home. that home housed a couple and their adult son. the husband drank constantly, his choice being gallon jugs of wine which when empty he neatly stacked next to his home. though dad drank, the house rule (from what we could hear from the arguments) was if the son came home drunk he was locked out.

every weekend at around 2:30 a.m. it started-son pounding on the door trying to get in, dad shouting "you're drunk, you can't, go sleep it off". this would go on for several minutes until it would escalate to the point where dad would burst out of the door in his underware and start chasing the adult son around the yard, tossing empty gallon wine bottles at him (he was a pretty good shot-beaned him fairly frequently). we would call the local police, and it got to the point where when the dispatcher's computer identified our address they would just say "hey barkley, drunk olympics jug tossing event started?":rotfl: then they would dispatch and break it up.

Once for a break-in at the church across the street.
A few times for vandals in the cemetery next tot he church across the street.
Once when our shed was broken into.

Once DH had to call when an off-duty cop had wrestled a drunk driver onto our front lawn. Boy, you should have seen the cops cars that showed up for that one. DH call 911
and said "An off duty policeman is wrestling with a drunk driver on my front lawn". I didn't think my little town HAD that many police cars!
