A poster could post for years, making many friends along the way. Then one day he posts a very emotional and well thought out post, gets labeled a troll and banished. I'm speaking hypothetically, of course.
If you truly feel someone is a troll, and I haven't seen any true trolls in this thread, why give them the satisfaction of a response? This board moves quickly enough that without responses their trolling will drop off the page quickly.
I totally agree that nastiness doesn't equal a troll. I've seen some nasty people who were not being trolls. My point was just that as far as being able to express a viewpoint and not be jumped on that it should be done respectfully. And we should be respectful when responding back to someone. Like we are doing.
