Brown Derby- never been
Coral Reef- last trip was in 1996.
Crystal Palace- have only been for breakfast, but it was very clean, organized and had delicious food. Our waitress was one of a kind.
Kona Cafe- This is my number one favorite Disney restaurant- breakfast lunch or dinner. It is casual and relaxed, with fresh, delicious and beautifully presented food. Every dish is artistic and you can appreciate it all without the fanfare of a signature restaurant- and to me the food is just as good as any signature restaurant I've been to!
Last trip we went twice. This trip we will be going three times. That should tell you how highly I think of this place.
I have some pictures of a lunch we had there in December. I hope they help you.
We wanted to try so many yummy dishes but we didn't want to have to be rolled out of there, so we ordered an appetizer, a soup and an entree to share between the two of us.
We chose the Sticky Wings (crispy glazed wings with a sweet and smoky sesame flavor, came with greens and a mustard drizzle- delicious!) the Kona Chowder ( a creamy, mild seafood chowder with pieces of shrimp, crab, fish, etc.) and the Polynesian Plate lunch with grilled mahi mahi for our entree (Teriyaki grilled mahi mahi- *the BEST fish I've ever had in my life! tender, flaky, sweet, delicious, slight grill flavor- wow- better than the other appetizers or desserts, even- it was that good!* with Hawaiian macaroni salad and sticky rice)
Then we had desserts, but he doesn't like creme brulee too well and I love it, so we ordered two (couldn't eat them both, though)
Kilauea Torte (Chocolate Lava Cake)- very rich and chocolatey, went well with vanilla bean ice cream, but too rich for me
Caramel Banana Creme Brulee- nice fresh banana flavor, not too sweet
Ohanas (for breakfast)- never done breakfast
Marrakesh- delicious couscous and veggies. A nice choice for a light dinner. Watched belly dancers and bongo player. Definitely something different. It also got me *hooked* on couscous. Theirs was so flavorful and delicious I started trying different recipes at home.
So, I hope that helped. I would suggest Marrakesh over Alfredo's just because it's unique.
I also would suggest Kona because I think it is the best!
P.S. I like your choice in names.
