Have you celebrated a birthday at Teppanyaki?

Considering this for DH birthday. Have eaten here many times and love it but just wondering how they handle birthdays? TIA!

We were there last year during my birthday week. I did not note it on my ADR since my bday was 3 days prior, but somehow they knew anyway.

They brought out a paper chef hat with Japanese writing (presumably it said Happy Birthday) and a peice of the ginger cake with a candle and got my whole table to sing Happy Birthday to me. It was cute!
