Have you been stiffed trading teleporters? Well...

After recenty being stiffed in a trade for teleporters (I know, I know, do not trade teleporters , but the other stuff I got in the trade was ok), I have come up with an idea. I have plenty of Skull Rock rooms and I am thinking about setting up one or two of them as a place for mismatched teleporters. You can drop off your teleporters and maybe we can find some that will match.

Please let me know if this is a good idea or if anyone has tried this, or if you have any mismatched teleporters, and would like to try this out.

MsSocks used one of her rooms for this purpose a while ago. I don't know if anyone ever found matches or not, though. I'll see if she can post about it on her lunch hour.

I do know, though, that she recently tried to sell one that she'd gotten in a bad trade but it wouldn't let her. It's a shame you can't sell them because you either need to find a spare room to store them in or have them in your inventory taking up space all the time.

I have my own mismatched teleporter room. I have the teleporters turned against the wall so that once your in, you can't get out. There is a picture on the wall that says to contact me here or on vmk fan site to ask for a trade for the other half.

The ones that are truly lost, I have had no response from. Sometimes I stick it in there if I'm not exactly sure where it has ended up (left over from the first mule ball) and it usually gets sorted out. [Which reminds me - AZCat you have a half teleporter of mine]

So, do I hold out much hope to get them matched again - nope. My guess is that the other halves are with a player who doesn't play any more. They have no idea or don't care that they have a mismatched half teleporter. But, I have lots of skull rock rooms, so using one for this purpose doesn't put me out any. I might get lucky some day.

What are the odds that one would match after the many "insert any high figure" teleporters that have been sold and traded over the months!

You can drop off your teleporters and maybe we can find some that will match.

My son has 2 mismatches. He thought he was going to get a space suit, but ended up with a bunch of dead teleporters. We were able to find the person again and he gave us 1 complete set, but we are still holding onto 2.

I like the idea of placing them in an empty room facing the wall. We may try that.

I have a mismatched set of BTM teleporters from a trade with a punk who ran away everytime I asked for help with them... Ok I am dum.
Let me know how to find the room...
Actually if everyone put their mismatched sets in a spare room we might actually link a couple here and there... or not.

I actually have a room called the "Land of Lost Teleporters" which contains the bad ones we received. Would that be ironic, if the Dis'rs actually have some matches?

I do have a room, but would be thrilled to get rid of the teleporter. It's half a boat. When I get a chance to log in, I will try to find someone in this thread!

I have 3 unmatched coffin teleporters. I had on of my own, and accepted the other 2 'dead' ones as I was running a maze game. So they worked out well to fill the rooms.

They too are currently in a room turned to the wall. I think it's a great idea to see if any match.

I'll take them up, and see you tonight Fly! They may as well stay there too, just in case others want to try. Would be so neat if some did match!

Ok I have found a match for my teleporters they both go to a closed room by BunnyToast! Now I just have to find BunnyToast and see if we can trade the ones that match!

I found a match for one of PurpleDuck's teleporters and hopefully she can hook up with Amythest to make the trade.

I too have mismatched teleporters, and I never run into the dude who has the other mismatched pair. His name is AlbertAWOL. Have been into his dead teleporter room many times. If only I could leave a message...
