KerryCM Have a wonderful trip! I loved BWI CL in July - you were one of the main reasons I tried it! It is top-notch and I was crazy about The Lounge (and Pete!)

The worst crowds I've ever encounted were the days surrounding July 4th! We stayed at the CR and could not even get back to the resort for the MK fireworks one night! Wanted to watch from our balcony, but no way! Do you think they mean the week after the week of the 4th???

That is the week they go, which I guess wasn't as clear as I thought from my post.

Happy Anniversary! to all the celebrants. Ours is Sunday and we're not going to Disney World, we're...getting our hair cut! Not your traditional romantic celebration, I guess. We go to a salon in the city, so it's convenient for both of us to go at the same time, but perhaps we'll at least stay downtown and have dinner or something.

minniesota: I printed today a copy from Don @ AKL of our confirmed bookings and on it was the Flag retreat for Dec 2nd. He spoke with someone by the name of Jane. So I am hoping that this is a done deal. We were also told to be there early and who to talk to. Good Luck!

I just got over the crud. So plenty of good health wishes coming everyones way. Something funny---I was talking with one of the doctors I work with about my being sick and she said to me " Have you been around anyone that has been sick lately" I looked at her and said" Yes here at work!" ( I work in an emergency room) Sometimes you wonder.

Hey! It's Itinerary Planning Office. They're the folks who help you with your PS, in-room gifts, booking tours, spa appointments, etc. It's one of my favorite perks of CL!!

Oh steveanddonna, you crack me up! Despite our elegant celebration trip this summer, more often than not we have celebrated your way. Although I'll admit, we DID hold hands on our 21st wedding anniversary this year while watching DS's baseball game! Methinks we have alot in common with you and the captain...

So what's with this traveling "crud"? Transmissible on-line? I've been struggling with the cold/cough that won't quit since last week. Perhaps we should be putting out a large tureen of chicken soup tonight!

BaciBecky - Just wanted to say "hey," and WELCOME!!! You're absolutely right, these are just the gals (oh, excuse me GoofyJoofy - and guy) to help you plan a fantastic CL experience! A word of caution: once you go CL, it's hard to go back!!

I've tried the CL at Poly, AKL and BWI. All of these resorts have excellent CL staff members, lounges, and food offerings. It's hard to choose just one, but our stay at BWI CL in Aug. was wonderful! The cm's are so gracious, helpful and genuinely caring. We had a great stay there, and we will definitely return. But, AKL is our favorite resort, and the AKL cm's there were soooo warm and friendly, too. So hard to choose, that's why we usually split between two resorts, so I don't have to!

mom_rules - Wow! You're almost on your way, I'm envious of your efficiency in being packed and ready!! I always wait 'til the last minute. Have a wonderful trip!!

k&a&c'smom ~ thanks for the welcome! I just returned from my first stay at the GF and wanted to try it without CL - LOVED it!! A 3 night getaway felt like a week! I;ve been at most of the Resorts, but this thread sure has been thinking about CL for the next visit..of course, the where will not be an easy decision!!

minniesota I have to agree Alana is awesome. All of my dealings with the Epcot Resorts IPO has been great. They are so prompt in replying to my e-mails and have to deal with my OCD when it comes to planning my trip.

Oh please dear lizards, send all of your spare pixie dust my way!!! I have done the unthinkable, the unbelievable, the unforgiveable....my deposit on the BWI garden suite was due YESTERDAY and I just realized it - AND IT IS GONE!!! I am sitting here bawling. Sure I still have the crud a little and so my coping skills are crap - and maybe that's why I forgot the deposit or maybe it's because I'm planning 2 trips and trying to make everyone happy and now I forgot to make the deposit on our anniversary suite, Waaaahhhh! I cannot tell DH - he has his heart set on the garden suite. I cannot, cannot, cannot. Tell me this is a bad Disney dream and I will wake up and all will be better..Where is the wine???

minniesota I am so sorry! I have been sick as well and I can imagine that this is JUST what you need... When is your trip? I feel sure a garden suite will open up for you... I am sending MAJOR PD your way.

So many anniversaries going around - Happy Anniversary!!!! to all those celebrating this month.

I had my map of the AKL now I've lost it! I'm trying to figure out where the 1 bdrm suites are located. Does anyone know which savannah these are on? Are the 1 bdrms on the 5th or 6th floor?

I'd like to stay for 2 weeks, but I'm going to have "down-size" to get it to work. I have to see how creative I can be to do this. I'll have to (gulp) kiss that VP and 2 bdrm suite at AKL & GF good-bye if I go for an extra week. I might even have to give concierge for part of the trip. Any suggestions LL? Feel free to PM - I'm always open to suggestions!
