Man-O-man! I wish we could stay longer, but I'm bitting the bullet to do this trip.
(Being we'll be back at the GF RPC three weeks later for the marathon)
Also, that weekend before Christmas is one of my busiest weekends of the year.

But, DH and I have never taken MIL and we couldn't think of a better time to take her, than on her birthday and during the beautiful decorations and festivities!

MCMCP, OL, CP....we're gonna do all the shows and sights!

So excited! Haven't done the holiday thingie in three years!

I don't want to be impatient, in view of everything they must be dealing with. We upgraded to CL at AKL on Tuesday or Wednesday last week, and I sent off an email right away to them; I still have priority seatings to arrange (only 2), one to change, and I have to book the Sunrise Safari. It's for late November, early December, so I'm past the 90 day window, but it's a quieter time...

Do you think it's okay to call today if I don't get an email back? I can do my own PS, I don't care, really, but I'm nervous about the Safari getting full, and there's only one day we can do it.

Oh, BT, it'll be a "near-miss" in December - we're at the Poly with our nephew Dec. 8-11. We leave the day you arrive! We're looking forward to the holiday atmosphere, too; haven't been at that time since 2001 with the scared-of-everything niece. Hope your pipe incident is not too serious and your fall and holiday season is off to a galloping start!

GoofyJoofy how can you STAND being counterless? Get that December counter going!

I still want to wait a few days before e-mailing IPO with the rest of our planning requests for October. They must be crazed trying to catch up with everything from the last topsy-turvy week. I'm feeling the anticipatory rush, though - wish my own counter would move a little faster!

Just popping in to get a snack-hum...Krispy Kreme or Chocolate croissant? Think I'll have BOTH!

Things are really crazy here-budget season at work and speech evaluation for DS and DD's first day of school this week. My first time putting a babe on the school bus. I must be brave for her! She was vomiting yesterday morning and said she was just too excited about starting school. I think that really was her problem because she was perfectly fine afterwards. I think putting my youngest on the kindergarten bus will be even harder on me! DS's starts preschool next week and we're still working on the potty training. He say's "Diapers are just easy, undies are hard...". He really wants to go to school so I'm hopeful he'll be fine when he's actually there.

All this talk of WDW in Dec is making me a bit jeleous. Its such a magical time of year to go. You'll all have such great trips! But hey look at my counter! It will be here before we know it and I just won't think about all the work (yes real work...so I can pay for all this) I have to do before then.

Donna-hope things are going better for you. I'll send you a PM soon so we can compare schedules. But just a guick note-my kids are more Irish than anything else (Lithuanian, German, Scotish, English...) and Lizzie starts her 2nd year of Irish Step next week with Maura Nevin (I know some of her kids go to national events...).

Oh yes, I remember the anguish of wanting to tell our niece she was going with us last January. Her mom and I could not wait to tell her. We talked incessantly about how we would tell her, how she would react, and had the cameras ready to capture that priceless look when she found out. When we told her she said, "OK. Don't forget to pack my earplugs so you can wash my hair." She's a very low-maintenance little girl!

Hey lovesdumbo thanks for the well-wishes. Things are fine if a bit hectic. I just KNEW your daughter looked like a stepdancer - even her hair is perfect! I have heard the Nevin name. I took step from the Dennehys lots of years ago and taught some park district classes while the "regular" teacher was pregnant/home with the baby. I was in the best shape after that year!

lovesdumbo My DS started middle school this morning. He wouldn't let me take him to the bus stop. He did ask if I would come home from work early and be here when he got home though. I can't believe he is growing up so fast. I miss my cute baby faced little boy. He did say that he had a great day and says that it is cool switching classes.

I just got off the phone with Daisy at IPO center and set up almost all of my requests!!!! Thank you so much for the phone numbers. I couldn't respond earlier when you posted them (kind of an issue at work-talking on boards and all) but that's how I got through!!!!

I am on the WISH list for Once Upon Time Breakfast on Sunday but I won't be terribly terribly disappointed if we don't get it. I am sure there are younger visitors that should go before us.
