Lovesdumbo[/B] - Thank you for the answer. I understand.

Also, congrat's on your weight loss. That is really fantastic!
In one of your previous posts you mentioned that you just turned 50. Me too! I really isn't that bad, especially when you don't feel 50.......or look it.

Valerie-I can really relate to what your saying. My DS has been talking about the "hotel" lately (doesn't even know we're going back) and what he really means by "hotel" is the concierge lounge and he's only 3! I think he's spoiled!:teeth:

Yes that is my DS11. He thinks the trip would be awful unless there were snacks and a TV in the lounge. He is looking forward to the Sushi while we are there. He will be one of those kids that will be carrying 2 plates full of food that everyone complains about. So embarrassing. :o I am not booking any Ps's for Nov. 1 because the sushi. So I will say sorry to everyone now if all the sushi is gone that day. :)

 NOT ME. I'm only 43:crazy: Somedays I feel like 50 with 3 very small children 5,3,1! But actually they keep me/us young:teeth:

Thanks for the congrats! Things have slowed down but I'm now at 54 pounds lost. I've been rewarding myself with $10 Disney Dollars per pound lost. I've "earned" my AP and working toward another.

Angel-just noticed you counter. Congrats on 25 years! We'll be celebrating our 20th. (We waited to have children-didn't think we were ready early on. Then it took us longer than we expected but we are so blessed now with 3 healthy, happy children.)

He can have mine!:teeth: Looks like your arriving as we leave. I'll save it for him:teeth:

Hey, lovesdumbo I'm 43 too! I'll turn 44 at the Poly in Oct., but don't tell anyone! Thanks for the encouraging words as to codes - I'll keep trying, as always. Yes, we'll stick with the Poly - DH wouldn't hear of switching, plus my in-laws are meeting us for the weekend, so we would have to change 2 ressies. We definitely have to plan a mini-meet in the lounge or something. I think your shy girl was the one who sounded so much like our shy niece, and your "politician" sounds like an older version of her little brother. We're bringing him to WDW in December, and I'm sure we'll make a LOT of new friends with his help!

it is ok, Angel, it is probably the wine talking that you had with the appetizers in the lounge! :)

LovesDumbo>> I have no idea how I missed it but WOO HOO for you! I need to get on the right track like you have! I keep telling people to ALWAYS go to college when you're young, since when you do it when you are older you just gain, gain, and more gain! I have been out for four years, so it should be going backwards but it isn't!

I love reading all of the little kid stories! My baby is out of the house in her own place, and my youngest is 11. I realize that isn't old, but they change so much over the years! My first wouldn't talk, but would SING for anyone. My second STILL talks up a storm with anyone in the lounge or on the Disney buses! He sees himself as an expert with information worth sharing!:hyper: He was actually trying to convince one of the AKL CMs to get imported brie so he could have the good stuff again!

It is mid-week! We're half way there!

Hi, and I think I could be a lizard, too. I have a question about GF suites. What is the difference between (or among for all those English majors!) a Pool/MK View 2-Bedroom Suite, a Cape Coral 2-Bedroom Suite and a 2-bedroom Concierge Suite? Can you request a specific suite? Thanks for any and all info!

Sincerely,
A lounge lizard could-be

Hope this helps! grab a comfy chair and sit around and enjoy all the dessert offerings that I'm laying out for tonight!
mini-eclairs, chocolate mousse bombs, mini-cheesecakes, mini-choc cupcakes......and various coffees and sweetners!
:teeth:

I've been ROTFL :rotfl: reading about these "sushi-eating" pre-teens, 40-50 age "talk":rolleyes1 , and hubbies who think we've lost our minds!!!! (all except Steve and GoofyJoofy!):D

Donna...still can't talk him into sleeping around yet?:earseek:
You've got yourself one Loyal LIZARD on your hands!:lovestruc

Decisions, decisions, DECISIONS!!!!
I hate it!

OK, I'm going to post a poll....
January marathon........GF RPC Honeymoon suite or the BC's VP Nantucket Suite.
They're bout the same price....where to stay?
(VP suite has jacuzzi tub, sep living room, more sq ft....
but it's not on the monorail! DH wants to be on the monorail for the marathon.)

DH is PO'd at the Poly's CL and their recent announcement concerning the Tonga rehab starting the very same day as the marathon...on a SUNDAY?
(methinks the Poly doesn't want us after the June fiasco!)
At least, that's how we're starting to feel!:confused3

Gotta go work on tagging my new jewelry!

See ya'll later!

Angel-could you have been thinking of nrsldy? She posted back on page 106 that she just turned 50 and is thinking of getting a Disney tatoo and her DH thinks she's crazy. I think we all look alike here.:teeth:

Debbie-funny thing is I gained a lot of weight in Graduate School, then 35-40 pounds with a post-partum thyroid problem after I had DS, then a few more pounds after I had baby #3 while taking a supplement to help breastfeed her-I think it worked by increasing your appetite. When I watched the super bowl last year and realized I weighed more than a lot of the players I knew I had to do something. Weight Watchers has been working for me and it doesn't feel like a diet-more lifestyle.

BT-you got me in trouble with DH over your sleeping around comment. He doesn't like my Dis-ing and he was standing over my shoulder and said "what is this stuff your reading..."

BambiTamby- Thanks for the info. I have a BQ type reserved because that's what the CM gave me but I wanted to know what other options there are. We may bite the bullet and try a suite vacation (we are already at the BCV 2-bedroom before our GF stay). We had hoped for an AP rate on 3 LV rooms but that's not happening for our stay in Oct. So thinking about the suite option!

LOL! My DH has said the SAME EXACT words to me!:earseek:

ACK! Hope you can still come to our Lizard meet in May.

I know where you're coming from!

Once you've experienced all THAT SPACE in a suite or villa....
you ARE ruined, spoiled rotten for life!

(I really like the suite and concierge thingie though, much better!)

I would take that suite at the GF though. I'm hoping one of those come up for the marathon.
CRO is going to get sick of me!
<font size=1>"Oh, darn! It's that MambyPamby lady from the DIS again!</font>:o

just got an email from our dreamflight!!!

She is having a wonderful time in their Dolphin Suite and enjoying their precious DD, who had a birthday today!:bday: :cake: :cheer2: :flower1:

Her words.....
XO Please, say hello to everyone on the thread for me...and let them know I think of them all, every time I sip espresso and bite down on a flaky & fresh chocolate croissant in the club level lounge
:cloud9:

Hmmmm.....that sounds heavenly!

:wave2:

I was just missing dreamflight! I'm glad to hear she is having such a fantastic time. ::yes::

BT, do you know when she'll be back to our thread? I miss her smiling face around here.

OK, I guess it's official. We are doing the suites thing at GF in October. I have a BQ type (all that was available) so now another question. Are the BQ suites all lagoon view? Is there a specific buidling that would be best for a potential castle view? Can concierge services help with room location? What should I seek help with? It's my Mom and Dad's 75th birthdays and I'm going to keep this a secret from them and the kids! So excited! Not having done concierge at WDW, I have a lot of catch-up reading to do. Any input or advice in the meantime would be most welcome. Does this make me a lizard?;)

ead...I miss her "smile" too!::yes::
But, she didn't mention her return date to me!:o

OK....which room?
the GF'shoneymoon suite or the BC's Nantucket Suite
for the marathon?

There's lots of bagels, FRESH chocolate croissants, cereals, and a HUGE bowl of fresh fruit salad out on the tables!

Have a great day! :sunny:

I would call GF's IPO directly and put in your request.

I'll have to find that number as I do not have it here at my desk at this moment.

johnsonet and Janet2k will have ALOT more input on the joys of GF RPC and suites!::yes::

Yes, minniesota....you ARE a lizard! :teeth:

Almost forgot! TammiMcMann & disneyholic family are other lizards that will know about the GF suites!

Here's some numbers....
the direct number to the GF IPO is +1-407-824-1775
if that's not right, then the number to the GF switchboard is: +1-407-824-3000 (just ask for the itinerary planning office)
the email address is wdwgfplanning@disney.com
