Great! We look forward to your return! Our suites are very nice and can spoil a person with all that space!I want to apologize for the delay in responding as I was worried I would have not-so-good news. I was having to double check information as the rehab for our suites building has been pushed back and I needed to check on the new dates. We just got word last week the new dates for our suites rehab start on January 9, 2005. Your reservation must have been booked just prior to us having this information and updating it with our Reservation Center. While this is the current scheduled dates, it is not 100% guaranteed and may change again. We hope there isn't any more delays in the scheduling but we have to work with the contractors etc. With your reservation overlapping into the start of the rehab, you will be receiving a call regarding this but they may wait a little before doing so due to the possibility the start date may change again.
I apologize for being the bearer of possibly unhappy news but I wanted you to know as soon as I could find out the new rehab dates. We look forward to future arrival and assisting you with your vacation planning!

Well, I just got on the ol' tellie and got a HONEYMOON SUITE at the GF RPC for the marathon!

BT, we loved our honeymoon suite at the GF--I'm sure you and your DH will really enjoy it! As you probably already know, there are two types--"regular" looking concierge deluxe type of room with a small jacuzzi tub and castle view and "octagonal" turret rooms that have windows all around and varying views. We had a regular honeymoon room our first night, then we were moved to a turret room which we much preferred. Either are great though!

Are you assigned one CM concierge at AKL to deal with before arrival? I called to make a res for the sunset safari and spoke to John first. He confirmed there was space and said to make my booking and call right back. When I called back I got someone else (a gal) who wrote in the res.

No, you won't work with just one person. You might had talked to Andrea, who is another GEM!!!

I Believe Don is helping out since Sue is recovering from her surgery. She is another fabulous IPO CM!!!!

Either way, you will get excellent service from these folks!

We requested the regular with the tub, but anything we get, we'll love! I know it!

At least we know we have a nice place for the marathon!

Thanks Bambi! I knew I could count on you for great suggestions! I'm glad to hear that Andrea is a "gem," as I've dealt with her, but wasn't sure how to "read" her. We really have not made many requests, but Don has been really gracious about responding to those we have made. By the way, I've also really enjoyed reading about all of your experiences; you've helped me get my Disney "fix" while waiting for our next vacation!

Hey LL's, I have a question and a comment. First the question, has anyone here used Trio Trans Limo Service? I want to keep surprising my family during our December trip and I thought being picked up in a limo would seem really cool to them. Annalisa at the Yacht Club has recommended this company and she will take care of the reservations. Goodness, how I love concierge!

And my comments to BambiTamby, DH and I were at the GF RPC last January for our 20th anniversary. The lovely folks there upgraded us to an octagonal honeymoon suite, room #4021. It was incredible. We were on the 5th floor and had eight palladium windows offering a panoramic view from the wedding gazebo right around to the Magic Kingdom. I just didn't think I could feel any more pampered. They even sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne from the concierge staff. The only thing lacking in the room was a balcony, but after seeing the view and the room, I couldn't have cared less. Truly magical.

Tammi! We've used them twice. Found out abt. them thru AKL CL last October. They are wonderful! VERY dependable and very kind. I will be using them again in December. Now, I have never had a limo thru them - just town cars - but the cars were the nicest, newest town cars. Enjoy!

We just returned from the Poly GVC. Everything was great and we will never stay in a regular room again. I loved waking up and going down to the lounge for a cup of coffee.

Mom Rules-codes are supposedly coming out tomorrow for the general public-BAT is room only code and package code is ZXQT. The CM this morning said they are loaded, but not available until tomorrow. Best of luck. I tried to get concierge for our trip in October , but no concierge rooms were available at GF or Poly. I'm upset, but okay. Oh well, praying for an upgrade!
