this is the same man who said our June 2004 trip (first) was going to be the last to WDW. "The kids can say they've been when their friends are talking about going/been," he reasoned. Well he's also the one who decided next year we will stay at WL (he decided this while dining at WC Cafe.... so while we were still at WDW THIS year he's planning NEXT year. LOL) Who care's were going back. So I've talked to him about the Illuminations cruises and we were to share a Wishes cruise this year but got rained out. Last night we were talking about fireworks etc with DSIL and she was talking about seeing them on a friends boat out on a lake. DH pipes up and says that's what we're doing next year at WDW.... taking a fireworks cruise. I'm thinking he got PD infused IV or something. Whatever it was I don't care but I think it's funny.

I too was wondering what Donna (of StevenadDonna) was up to...I know that she said that she had a lot of June bdays to get through before she could start really planning her August trip. She will be there at the same time as us at the Poly.

Anyone else out there going to be at the Poly at the end of July beginning of Aug.? Maybe we can plan a mini loung meet then. I will be there July 29-Aug 8th GVC.

Hi everyone! No I haven't fallen off of the face of the earth! I've just been really busy and haven't had the time to pop in and visit. Hope all the lizards are doing well.

To those going soon, I am envious! Going through withdrawl for Wilderness Lodge Concierge.

Fresh brownies and rice krispy treats are out for those that want em! Top it all off with a great cup of fresh ground and brewed Gevalia Traditional Roast. It's on me.

Goofy-hope you get your voucher when your TA returns on Thurs. Then you can purchase cheap tickets for Dec. Dec is just great at WDW! Love MVMCP(special shows, parade with soldiers, snow on Main St.), Candlelight Processional (the dinner package is well worth it-it costs about the price of dinner and you get a seat and when I've been discount good on Epcot purchases that day), the world santas.... GF would be great-the have a nearly life size ginger bread house there. I do find it a little hectic at home when I do a Dec trip though. One year I brought my Christmas cards and did them at the airport and on the plane. That worked out great but I didn't have any kids with me.

Well I'm going to send my first email to IPO for our Oct trip. Let the magic begin.....

Oh-1 more funny story-my son was watching the WDW planning DVD again (his choice ) and said he wanted to ride test track. I told him it was for big boys who wear undies and he couldn't wear a diaper and needed to start using the potty (he needs to be trained for preschool in Sept). So he jumped up to use the potty. DH said jokingly well airfare is cheap-you'll have to take him if it works (I was just thinking he get to go in Oct.) What is DH thinking? You can't joke like that with a LL! I'll be wanting to book a flight as soon as he's potty trained-I've got all those vouchers....

"Hi" fellow lizards! Thanks for the compliments on pics. I must say, my son, Nathan, is just an all around great kid. I'm truly blessed to have him. I'm glad you all enjoyed a sneak peek into our family's vacation album. I had oodles of photos and video tape, but I wanted to narrow it down to the really good ones.

I hope everyone enjoyed their July 4th weekend as well...ours went wonderful. It was full of family, food and fireworks! It just couldn't get any better.

Tammy - You may think I'm nuts, but I wouldn't totally restrict surf lessons to the kids only. When we return next summer, I'm going for it! There were mainly teens in our group, but my son was the youngest and there was a gentleman that appeared to be middle-aged. It is for people of ALL ages - young and old alike. Keep in mind, I really don't go by a number for age. I believe it's how you live life that determines how "old" or young you are. Anyway, my son LOVED it! I wanted to jump in and join them 1/2 way through it since looked like so much fun. I also got to carry the surfboard back to the stairs for him. I should have told the instructors they should allow me to have a little fun for the work I was doing. I think it may have worked, too!

GoofyJoofy - I guess princess PJs and tiaras are definitely not for you - LOL! How about a King's crown, princely PJs with a "Royal" robe? That should be more "appropriate" attire for you. It does sound like you have a great trip lined up!

I have spent considerable time lurking on this thread, but not posting because I have never stayed concierge. The more that I read the more that I longed to have drinks and cordials with you all.

I had passed up the opportunity to stay in a Contemporary 14th floor concierge room for our Oct trip when booking. BIG MISTAKE!

I have tried several times to change our reservations, but to no avail.

Today I was able to get one of the last BWI concierge rooms and I can't stop smiling.

I feel a little guilty because my husband really wanted to stay at the Contemporary, but that feeling only lasted momentarily. Nothing that a few glasses of wine couldn't erase from his and my memory.

I've got a quick question for everyone. Have any of you done any of the Theme Park tours? What did you think? The Keys to the Kingdom one looks really neat from the descriptions I've read on allearsnet.com, but I was wondering if any of you have any first-hand reports/opinions. I'm trying to decide if we should spend a good portion of our "break day" doing this or not.

DF! Get packing, girl! Yes, you can buy all those things at Target, but what if you forget something during that trip! Pack the basics, make the list for Target! (ok, I am secretly envious of all those with a Target near by, ok any chain store near by! We do have a chain drug store and for that I am extremely happy!) I can't wait to meet you on Wednesday; that's just over two weeks from now! WOO HOO!

BT> Congrats! Congrats! I actually read this news earlier, but didn't have the time to post! I am so happy for you! You are all going to have a blast!

Sounds like many of you will be going back sooner than you originally thought! Whatever you're whispering in your DHs' ears is working! *honey, the castle needs me, please say we can go back! The kingdom needs your presence! (or is that presents? (money) LOL*

We had a great weekend filled with friends and family and a quickie trip up north to get some graduation presents! We gave them to her early, so I can tell you that DD was on cloud nine with her new coach signature purse, wallet, wristlet (the Pink and green!), and a butterfly key fob to fill the set all out! She immediately dumped out the contents of her handbag and was filling up the new. I don't think she took it off her shoulder for the rest of the night! I know I've created a monster, but she'll have handbags that will last forever now!

Prayers and PD for those that still need them. Minor PD in the scheme of things, but we're helping our sick puppy over here. Just got back from the vet and he's set up with all sorts of meds which I know he's going to hate. He's finally drinking water again so I can stop giving him around the clock pedialyte with a dropper.

Just popping my head in to say HELLO!! I have been busy gathering and organizing, (DD too) but not PACKING yet!! LOL...It only takes me a couple of minutes to pack. Truly. If I forget ANYTHING, I'll make a run to the Millennia Mall in O~town and get what I need *(and maybe some things I don't...LOL!!). Tsk...Tsk...There I go, dreaming of SHOPPING again. Debbie, they have a COACH store in there!! I would LOVE to see the pics of DD's ensemble, or at least a link to a site/page where I may view them. They sound adorable, and as much as my DD is interested in Accessories...she would also LOVE a coach!! Her Periwinkle Dooney & Bourke item & escada fragrance arrived a couple of days ago. The medium signature zip~around wallet is so cute...I can hardly wait to see the backpack!
It's nice to know these are investments, and they will last both our DD's a looong~time! Now..to go take a break in the pool chair, then back in to empty the cases of K. Bauman's and Arista Bros. to bring to the Bank for safe-keeping! The Steiffs will stay "on-guard" while we are away.

OMG! We didn't take pictures! I had a puppy in my lap for most of the day so I didn't even think about it! I just wanted the rest of her present to be separate from her graduation party which is in two weekends. Oh I hate myself for not taking those! She was truly dazzled for quite some time! It was your basic go with everything black signature hobo style bag and then a tried and true black leather coach wallet. I went color crazy on the wristlet and it is hot fushia with green pockets on the front (had to accidentally buy one of those for myself!). The key fob is bright pink leather, and very D/B inspired, although coach had butterflies also this year! The website has switched most of their stuff to their fall line up! *oh there are so many cute handbags there!*


Important announcement!

I heard from Alice! She called me today on the phone. She misses everyone (and she sounds great!) and expects to be on sometime soon, although she is still spending most of her time with her children, especially her older son. She wanted to make sure that everyone knew she really appreciated the ecards/emails/letters and hopes to answer them all when she is able to. It was so good to hear from her as I had been worried about her as of late. She sounds exactly how I pictured! So Alice, if you do read this, you made my day!
