Have you as an adult been scared or overwhelmed on any rides?

Splash Mountain was the worst for me too I wish I had known you could successfully climb out because believe me I would have!! I kept asking my husband if I could please get off. I was totally frieked knowing that last big drop was coming and I utterly panicked the entire ride...

My exact words to my husband before we dropped (he was the one who insisted I would be just fine on the ride) were
"When we get off I am going to wipe the floor with you."
I'm 5'3" and he's 6' 200 pounds but believe me I could have!!

I was shaken and then to add insult to injury my hands smelt horrible from holding on to the ride so tight (maybe dirty ride water) and I couldn't wash the smell of the ride off my hands...HONEST! Just not a fun time

ToT!!!! Rode it once and will never, ever ride it again. I came off that ride shaking. And now when I get on a elevator that is fast, I white knuckle it the whole way.

Oh, my! Terk-1, I can relate. I don't think badly of you at all!

I'm a big chicken --the first time I went to WDW, I was about 8 weeks pregnant, so I didn't have to, er . . .get to ride any scarry rides! But, the second time, I made myself go on TOT. And I loved it! But, I couldn't make myself do any of the other mountains or RnRC.

Third time must have been a charm. I rode Space and Big Thunder with no problems -- I really enjoyed them (okay, I screamed, but it was a good scream). I LOVED RnRC and yes, I screamed really loud on that one.

I rode Splash with my older DS - 14 at the time. He kept telling me that the next one was the big drop -- knowing that I was freaking out all the time. Of course, I shut my eyes and held on for dear life at the real big drop. I can't say I enjoyed that one. I am not sure if I'll go on it again or not. If there is a next time, at least I will know better when the big drop is coming up.

But, I WILL NOT ever get on Astro Orbiter. Nope, not me. Uh-uh.
