Have you added the photos from Chef Mickey's to your regular Photopass?

On All Ears Photopass tips, it says in one place that you have to buy the package to add it to your cd but in another, it says you can go to the Photopass shop, for example, in Magic Kingdom and tell them when you were there and they'll add the photos. Is this true? I know you can write down the number off the back. Do the people selling the packages care if you do this?? Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated!

If you have a regular photopass, you have to buy the package and add the code to your account. If you have Photopass+, they GIVE you the photos while you're there, AND they add ALL of the photos they took to your account. So when we went to Chef Mickeys, he took photos of the kids alone, and then all 4 of us. We got the package, but we also got all of the shots he took. If I didn't have the +, I would have to buy the package, and I would only get the photo that the package came from.

In the past I have been able to add the photos without buying the package but I didn't know if that was smiled upon or frowned upon by the sellers.

My take on it was that if the picture is included in the meal (CRT, Akershus), you can have it added to the regular photopass without upgrading. If the package is sold (Tusker house, chef mickey), then you need to purchase it to add it, or upgrade to photopass + and get the prints as well as the picture added to your lot.

Once you buy the picture, it will have a photopass event code number on it which you can use to add to your photopass account. In the case of CRT or Akershus, the picture is included in the meal price, so those can always be added to your photopass account. The others, you would have to purchase first (or have purchased photopass+).
