Have we discussed the new Disney World website yet?

Haven't seen this posted, maybe I missed it, but the Disneyworld.com website has been updated. It appears as if WDW is already pushing the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" to the back burner. I like the "old" pop-up where the fireworks went off behind the newly decorated castle. Oh well, I guess I just don't deal well with change.

The 3D Mickey kinda creeps me out. I'm not impressed with it at all. I liked the "Happiest Celebration Stuff"

I JUST noticed the change...earlier today it was still the HCE and now its a Mickey with video clips...I liked the old one better as well but maybe this will be faster!! (hahaha). The layout below looks easier to navigate though!

I just went on the UK site and I think it's still the same as before? With the castle and fireworks.

I was in there yesterday afternoon and it was still the same, but maybe they were changing it because I couldn't get into the calendar.

I haven't seen the new page yet (I'll go in a bit), but is it quieter and with less Flash stuff going on? That sometimes annoyed me, especially when I would be planning vacations at work.

The 3d Mickey is so weird. I wish they'd just go back to tradional animation.

I noticed the change also and I really dont care for it. I liked the Happiest Celebration look.

It's only the home page that's changed. From what I saw, the rest of the website is the same as it was.

Here's a few things you can customize:

There's a little icon under Mickey. It has a Mickey head and arrowed circles around it. Put your cursor on that icon and you can change the character (click on your chosen character).

On the right side of the main picture there are two tabs (they have double arrows) You can choose between the Magic Your Way or the Happiest Celebration images by clicking on those tabs.

The 3D Mickey isn't what made me creeped out...it was the Cinderella with that spooky leering smile.
