Hi there new to this forum

We have just booked a 4 night stay in October, just before my oldest's 3rd birthday. We decided to book tickets for disney for 5 days rather than 4. Our train home is at about 7pm, so we have all day to kill.

Someone has told us that 2 days is enough, what do you think?

I am sure she will not mind going back every day though.

We are also going with a 6 month year old.

You will be fine with the number of days you are staying. We too travel with two little ones in tow, and believe me we need the extra time. You can take your time in the parks, enjoy the shows and parades, visit with the characters, and let the kids go on "that ride" (whichever ones they fall in love with!) over and over again!

Yes, you could do it in 2 days, but you will have a much better time, enjoy the time with your famiy more, and be more relaxed by taking more time to enjoy the trip.

Have fun!!

Welcome:wave2:

It will allow you to go at your own pace and not have to rush around. It also allows you a little break every now & then.

i am sure we are going to need a lot of those. SHe keeps seeing the adver on TV and knows she will be going there. We also want to get her to watch some disney DVD's so she knows the characters, she only really knows Mickey and Winnie the Pooh.

I have only been once before and that was when it first opened. I guess it has grown a lot since then. ;)

Hi Littlejojo and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

Most popular break seems to be a 4 day/3 night :thumbsup2 Of course this said from someone who is going on an 11 day stay :rotfl: You can never have to many days :goodvibes

The time you have allowed is perfect, and will permit a more leisurely pace than trying to cram it in. On our first visit we went for 5 nights, which meant we didn't feel we'd missed anything if we went off for a swim or to the aquarium.

This time we're going for 6 nights!

Hello there:banana:

We go with small children and the more days you can go the better.....honestly you can't get enough of the parks!! There is soooo much to do and see (and eat;) ) Seriously go for it you will have a blast and a half.

Good luck xxxx

is there anything to do in the surrounding areas, we dont speak french, i can just about say hello, and how are you. I can not remember any of my french from school.

Thanks Cyrano, I am sure as time goes on we will have lots of questions.

We want to go to Florida with them too, but have decided not worth it until the youngest is at least 5.

thanks everyone, this thread is making me very excited, , i am sure i will be more extied than my DD.

I am going to buy a book i think on DLP, and read up before we go to get a feel for the place.

Beacoup des personnes (cast members) la parlent anglais, heuresement! :lmao:

There's an aquarium nearby, which we're going to try this time. And shops, which we're not. But depending upon which hotel you're in, some time chilling by the pool in the afternoon can be a great way to recover from the crowds. :goodvibes

Don't worry a few simple Merci and Bonjours will go a lot way :)

I'm just back from a 3 night/4 day trip, we packed a lot in but there were still a lot of things we didn't get round to doing - IMHO you can never have too many days at DLRP.

As TDERadulski said when you have very young children with you you do need extra time.

Hope you have a great time. If you get the chance and it's on go and see the Lilo & Stitch Catch The Wave Party in WDS - it's great. They encourage children to come forward to put grass skirts on & join in the hula hula dancing.

No it will be fine.

We stayed there for 4 nights 5days on our last visit & it was our 5th visit! & our kids are teenagers. we found lots to do & see.

I am going to buy a book i think on DLP, and read up before we go to get a feel for the place.

Probably one of the most popular is the Brits Guide to Disneyland Paris. The 20% off coupon inside the book for Planet Hollywood makes it an even sweeter deal :goodvibes

Hi Littlejojo, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:

Don't worry, you won't have any problems filling your days! :yay:

Hi and welcome to the Dis

we are doing 4 nights/5 days in October also and we did the same length of stay last year. We also have 2 small children so it is nice to be able to relax a little and let them go on what they want and have time to sit on a bench and enjoy and ice-cream without worrying about getting everything done.

When in Ocotber are you going?

I too am going for 5 days as I felt with 2 younger children it would give us time to do everything at a slower pace , I don't want to be racing and cramming everything in over 2 days. We start on a wednesday so i wanted to do the bulk during the week and aim to re visit anything else on sat and sun, does this sound like a good plan?
