Have to tell my news!!

I know my news isn't related to exchanges but I just had to tell someone.

My son is a senior in High School and has been on the baseball team as a pitcher since his freshman year. As a Junior he pitcher wonderful and received 1st team All-Conference, 1st team All County, and outstanding player award for his high school for 2007.

Well, he just found out today that he has made the Pre-Season All State Baseball Team for the state of Maryland for 2008. He will be attending a banquet at Camden Yards where the Orioles play to receive his award. We're so proud of him.

That's great news for your son and I understand feeling so proud as his Mom! My son played HS baseball too up until last year when he hurt his arm. He was the varsity shortstop. At least he was playing HS ice hockey too, so he isn't totally without sports. Now he seems to love ice hockey just as much as he was loving baseball, which did my heart good because I really felt the sting of his disappointment last year.

That is wonderful news!!!! Has he decided where he is going to play ball in college?

As a baseball Mom I know the question is never "where is he going to college?" but rather.."Where is he gonna play ball?" lol
