Only y'all would understand-
My son loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The Disney Channel has been playing a commercial of a mother and daughter meeting Duffy the Bear. My two year old is watching this commercial yesterday when his 23 year old brother walks in. The 23 year old has been to WDW and DL more times than he can count and was in the Disney College program last year. He loves Disney. He's been considering going back to the CP even.
So anyways, the commercial is on and the two year old is watching in wide eyed wonder when he looks at his brother and sighs loudly and says "Bubba, I MISS Disney World!" To which his brother replies "me too!" And then they hug each other to comfort one another.
The whole thing made me laugh and proud all at the same time! I guess the two year old is already engrossed in the magic.

My two boys:

That's cute . My son was extremely interested in Mickey mouse around 2 yo also it's so great , and a lot of fun . We took him on a disney cruise when he was a few months before he was three.

I understand completely! DS2 has been watching that commercial too and he did a similar to his big brother (18). He looked over and said. "We go now?"
We were planning to go this summer, but had to postpone. Looks like you and I ride the same pixie dust trail!

That is soooo cute, and your little men very handsome! Those are proud parent moments for sure! :goodvibes

What a cute story! You boys are both incredibly cute.

Along a similar note, last night while we were watching fireworks my 3.5 year old kept saying over and over "These aren't like the fireworks at Disney". I think we have ruined him for all future fireworks shows. He now expects synchronized music, color changing castles, and fireworks that look like evil faces in all shows he sees. Sigh....

Adorable!

My dd will be 3 in Oct and when she sees the same commercial she says Mommy go Disney again to see Mickey and Duffy! And I reply yes honey right after your birthday! And a huge smile on my face! This fall with be her 5th trip!

So funny, we had a similar experience last night. We asked our kids if they wanted to go see the fireworks. "Nope! Let's wait until we go to Disney."

We went on a cruise when the two year old was 11 mos. The staff in the dining room all doted on him. They'd make rounds stopping by our table to visit with him. The more we got to know folks the more we realized that they had young children at home of their own and our baby was a piece of 'home' for them. They work 11 mos straight and have little contact with their families back home. Needless to say the baby had his own fan club wherever he went. It was very touching and sad all at the same time.

When are you going? I just got our reservation booked for next June at a 2 bed value at akv. SO excited! I'm ready to begin making all of the other reservations now too.

Last night the baby was actually scared of the fireworks. He's truly never been afraid of anything before. I guess we either missed the fireworks at WDW or my parents must have had him at the villa. He eventually got over it thank goodness because that's one of my favorite things to do at Disney.

That's part of why we bought DVC, we knew the trips weren't about to stop or slow down. Congrats on 5 trips! We I tell folks about going they don't understand why we've been so many times, especially if they've never been themselves. My DH hadn't been until last July. I was shocked! Lol

Last night the baby was scared of the fireworks but then we started talking about Mickey's fireworks and he decided that if mickey could have them at the castle then he could be ok with them. Lol

It's so unpredictable what kids will be afraid of isn't it? Glad he enjoyed them eventually. He should love them next time you go to Disney. My son calls wishes "the castle sitting ride" because we sat in front of the castle for quite a while the one time we watched it.
