I would also go with "The Festival of the Lion King." Unfortunately, in later years, Disney's shows have seemed to go downhill for me. Perhaps it's that I'm just getting older, but I remember fondly the days of "Disney World Is Your World" at the Tomorrowland Theatre. . .Walking out of there singing the title song. I loved it. Characters plus some real singing (I realize some was taped). Nowadays, the shows just seem lukewarm (The castle show in particular - - I'm not saying it's bad, it just seems to be aimed at kids, not the whole family).
Now that they've gotten rid of the "Hunchback" show, I think I'm back to being disappointed with just about all of the shows. Even "Lion King" doesn't thrill me, but it is, by far, the best that is now available in the parks.
I would, however, say that "The Voyage of the Little Mermaid" may possibly be considered a show - kind of Broadway "Lion King"-esque in its techniques. If you're planning to go to the Studios, see it and you might think it would qualify.
Sorry to rant - I realize that's not the point of your post. I just started to write...and I just kept writing.
"Disney World - Disney World
For every boy and every girl
A happy ever after world
Disney World is your world!"
