Have they removed the clock radio from all the resorts?

We got into the habit of leaving an iPhone or iPad on during the night with the Nightstand application running. Just prop it up in a convenient spot and leave it plugged in. The app allows you to set a low level of illumination so it doesn't keep you awake but is still viewable at night. You can also set an alarm.

We just stayed at All Star Music, and we had a clock radio, right on the table between the beds , where it has always been.

I wonder if they are changing their policy. Perhaps complaints are bringing the clocks back.

I heard from a lot of runner friends that the clocks were in the rooms over marathon weekend - not sure if it's a total policy change (bringing them back) or they put them all back for that weekend because they didn't want to deal with all the runners calling for clocks or of they're putting them back for good.

Just added "alarm clock" to my standard Disney packing list. <sigh> It will live in the Disney box with the 2 USB power strips (and numerous other things that we need at Disney) from previous trips. There are plenty of alarm clocks available with both USB ports and standard outlets, why not replace the alarm clocks with those instead of eliminating the alarm clock completely????

You might not need to pack both the USB power strips as the clocks are getting replaced with them :)

I find this just weird! Why would you not have a clock in a hotel room? Wonder if you can request a clock? I was a POR in October and that room had a clock.

Totally weird!! I use the clock to wake up. Don't like the phone since it's usually really loud and wakes the kids!

We did not have a clock at Sports over marathon weekend for 9 nights. My brother's room didn't either. It was kind of annoying in the middle of the night fumbling for my phone to check the time. We used wake up call so didn't need an alarm clock and used my phone as a 2nd backup alarm. Hope they bring them back.

If you want them back you have to make it known. Email, call, write, and answer the surveys!
