Its been a year or so since we went, so I wanted to double check just in case they changed them back.
But I was barely able to turn the wheel at all, whereas in the past at at WDW, I can get it going pretty good. If they haven't loosened them back up, WD40 might not be enough!
This is kind of making me laugh because we were watching some video my husband took of me and the kids on the Teacups in February, 2004. When we had been there in October of 2003 I had no trouble spinning the cup myself (dh gets sick on this ride). So when we went back in February I was unpleasantly surprised that I could hardly budge the stupid cup. I am grimacing, chin down, red in the face and really giving it my all and frankly look like I am giving birth in that teacup on our video. My kids love to watch that and laugh their heads off at me trying to be super spinning mom! The last time I rode it in December it was alot easier but nothing like the ones in WDW that practically spin you off into the atmosphere!
Funny, funny!!! My dh also hates the tea cups and I think it is hilarious to watch him try to please the kids, but his cup is not allowed to spin! This is so funny because he loves any kind of rollercoaster unlike myself.. I love the tea cups but don't like some of the wild rollercoasters...
The tea cups were a bit hard 2 1/2 years ago when we went. It took me and 2 dd's to get one going then I could keep it up after the initial starting.
Matt, this morning Natalie had it whipping around with no help from me. Indeed, you are in need of a visit to the gym dude. BTW, had a drink with YoHo tonight. Super nice guy.
