Have they ever lost your dining reservation(s)?

I'm so frustrated!!

My computer's hard drive failed recently and I had all of my dining confirmation numbers on my computer so I lost them all.

I called tonight to get the confirmation numbers and they had no information on one of my reservations-diner at narcosees on the 20th.

I KNOW that we made it because I made it seperately from the other ressies but this woman has looked & looked and can't find it. She tried our first names, our last names, times, etc. I know that I booked it--how could it just have disappeared?

My mom is on the phone with her now and I keep telling her to hang up bc this woman clearly knows very little about Disney--according to her the wave is at the GF and the animal kingdom villa's don't have any sit down eating (Sanaa apparently doesn't exist)--but she keeps talking to her.

I'm worried something else will get deleted!

My mom thinks she may have also written down some of the confirmation numbers somewhere--if we can find it for Narcoosees can we just assume the reservation stands? If we have the confirmation number they'd have to honor it right?

Sorry to hear all your frustration.

I would definately hang up and maybe try tomorrow morning with a new CM.

One of the other things for future reference I also copy all the ressie numbers into my cellphone calendar. That way I have them with me when I am in the park just in case.

Luckily my mother did hang up (very graciously) and we searched her desk and found the paper with the confirmation numbers! I used it to look up our reservations online and BOOM narcosees was there! So we called back, got a different CM, and she confirmed that our reservations were safely in the system.

I just do not understand how the other CM couldn't find it and then tried to book us another reservation somewhere else but wouldn't even try to get us back into narcosees because we "wouldn't want TWO reservations there on the same night would you?!" It was so weird!

But it all worked out in the end so its all good.

I called to figure out a conf # I had lost and the CM insisted on rebooking the same meal rather than searching for it. She wanted to re-book and then look for my old ressie. The oddest part was that she found the old one while she was putting in the new one, but wouldn't tell me my confirmation number, she insisted on booking a new and cancelling the old one. It was really odd.

I called today to verify everything and add my room requests and I wanted to verify my ADRs but the CM was acting odd and started talking about something else then said "Oh you are a Grand Gathering but don't have a GG #, let me transfer you". When she did the NEXT CM said that if I wasn't booking any GG experiences then it doesn't make any difference to add it. I started wondering if she got me off the phone so she didn't have to look up my ADRS.

I hope they are all ok-now u have me worried! LOL...I lost the paper I wrote my Confirm #'s on. Im just going to have to PRAY for the best.

OMG that is soooo wrong. The dining people really need to get their act together. I will not touch my reservations once I make them and the online system has worked out great for me.

Well I guess that explains her determination to book us at The Wave at the GF!
Luckily, she didn't want to cancel any of our current ones, she just wanted to overbook us but we said no thanks and worked itself out.
I swear, they should only hire disers to work the dining reservations line!
