Have there ever been AP discounts over Easter?

I just renewed my AP and think that I am regretting doing it too quickly. Is there any possibility of AP discounts over such a busy time of year?

The week before and after have been blacked out the last several years. However, you may see a post that folks could once upon a time book before the blackout begins and carry the discount throughout their stay. Since this year that has all changed by charging you a daily rate, that scenerio is no longer possible. I would have to say since MLK weekend was blacked out of any AP discounts, I would be expecting all holiday timeframes to be blacked out.

I was afraid of that. Now do you know if I can cancel the AP? After all I won't be picking it up until we arrive.
