..."what should I bring to WDW??"

I've got my normal packing list, but I'm wondering if there are things that I normally buy in the stores near WDW that I may not find when I get there. (We buy groceries for meals in the BWV.)

I've heard reports of stores not having bottled water and/or milk. Is this the case? Should I bring my own? Anything else that we should bring that we wouldn't normally bring?

Will we have trouble getting gas for the car?

We start our drive on Friday. I don't typically book hotels for our travel days ahead of time - should I?? Our 2nd night will probably be 100-150 miles north of Orlando.

i would definitely book a room for your travel day, just due to all the evacuees...

as far as bringing extra... i would think you might want to throw in a case of bottled water, but i have read that deliveries are being made so the stores are not "out" of items forever...

good luck & enjoy!

You shouldn't have a problem finding bottled water. There was a shortage of low octane gas but mid and premium grades are available.

Of course if you are traveling in an area with no power there will be no gas.
