Have the counter service burgers declined?

I tried to eat at Peco's Bill in 11/06. The burger was temped at best & I left lots of it. The fries were warmer but just ok. I stopped by city hall to complain that the tempature of the burger as served violated health standards in a couple of counties where I know the regs. Just not hot enough. All they said was ok we will let someone know. When i travel im concerned that food served to warm or to cold could ruin a trip with various stomach problems. Yes burgers at the world have been getting poorer. Next time i just might pack pbj sandwiches for some meals. Still love them.

I think they have improved the food over the years: there is more of a variety, but it is (suprise) expensive. I did have a burger at the POR food court a couple of weeks ago, and I did not think it was half bad. Did not try a burger in the parks, however.

We were there at the end of September. The counter service at WL, I believe it is called the Roaring Forks, had acceptable HBs the first day we got there. Three days later we had a burger and the meat was different. It tasted like they had beef with a lot of soy filler. It was very, very nasty. We all remarked on the burger after our first bite.

Given that it was Wilderness Lodge, are you sure it wasn't a buffalo burger?

Another vote with OP. We had Pecos twice on our Sept trip. The first time was kind of cold & dry, but we chalked it up to being a slow eating time & maybe they were left over from lunch. Then we went during regular busy lunchtime & it was only a little better. Pecos was my favorite CS in the world so needless to say, we were disappointed. Guess we'll give it another try in May!! And yes, someone was a little lite with the fries that day too!
