Have one day for the world

I will be making an unexpected trip to the Orlando area in the middle of Dec. I will have one day to spend at WDW and I have a PAP. If you all had just one day, what would you do?

I am going to Orlando for business Nov 3 & 4 (Mon & Tues). I got a flight for Sunday Nov 2, arriving about 2:15pm. I'm thinking of trying for standby for a flight arriving 11:30pm. So that gives me a few hours at WDW, I have an AP. My plan - check-in at CBR (1 night), head to MGM for RnR and ToT, bus to MK for Wishes (7:00pm), monorail to Epcot for Illuminations. Stay at CBR, drive downtown in the morning for work, staying at Radisson Downtown Monday night, fly home Tuesday night. My flight Tuesday night is 7:20, I'm hoping I get done with work early, maybe I can hit Downtown Disney or Boardwalk.

I just started working for a new department this summer. One of the things they asked me was would I be willing to travel to the Orlando office to do some training. I can do that!

Hey Pinboy,

I'd either see as much of one park as possible, or do the highlights of two parks. Anything more than two parks and you'll be spending too much time on transportation.

I'd also avoid the Early Entry park for the day you'll be in WDW. That should help narrow your choices a bit. Let me know if there's anything we can do to help.

I would make a PS to a restaurant I havent tried or one I havent been to in a long time. Then head over to my fave park, happens to be Epcot. Pick up a FP for Mission Space and just leisurly walk to the park taking in a few attractions. Maybe catch the tree lighting or listen to the CP music in the American pavillion while sipping a Hot cocoa. But just taking in the fantastic xmas magic that is very much at this park. Then finish off the day with a wonderful dinner.
