Does anyone know if free dining will be offered in Nov? Looks like we'll be there the week before Thanksgiving. Is it something you can do even w/ an AP? Or do you need to package it with tickets?

Free dining is only with a package...requires a minimum 2 days park tickets per person. Some people with APs still book the package & just save the park tickets to use toward the cost of the AP when it expires (have to make sure it's not used for park entry on this trip, though, or it would be expired by the time you wanted to apply it to an AP purchase!)

They did extend free dining promo last year, but I believe they had some black-out dates around the holidays so can't tell you if that week was covered before or not. So far they have not released promos for Fall dates...last word I saw on it was that new discounts would be released 8/15 or after (current discounts have to be booked by 8/14)

It is good for that week. Like pp said, you have to book by 8/14 to take advantage of it. You might be limited on where you can stay because only so many rooms at each resort are avaiable for the promotion. We had to change resorts in the past to take advantage of the promo. We ended up loving the new resort.

Currently, free dining is being offered for arrivals between Nov 12-18 which includes part of the week before Thanksgiving. As long as you check in by Nov 18, the FD will extend through the end of your reservation. However, only a limited number of rooms per resort are allocated for the FD promotion so it could already be sold out at the resort of your choice. Also the reservation must be made by Aug 14 so there are only a few days left.
