Have luggage tags been discontinued?

I have been seeing a lot of people on various boards saying that they have not been receiving them. I do understand that porters can provide luggage tags at the port

No they are not discontinued. I just got mine next day air on Tuesday for our sailing on Saturday. I think the infamous system upgrade caused all sorts of problems and one of the casualties was shipping out luggage tags timely. Hopefully this means that they are starting to go out again.

I got them for my cruise on the dream in March close to the sailing date, but we didn’t receive any for when we went on the magic in December. And like you we are on the April 30th fantasy so I’m assuming they will show up sometime next week.

USPS isn't helping any either. 2 day priority mail is now taking 4-5 days even though they still advertise it as 2 day.

The Post Office isn't helping any either. 2 day Priority mail is now taking up to 5 days and you pay extra for that.

I actually got two separate sets of tags for my cruise last week. Identical except the barcodes were different. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We are on the April 23rd fantasy cruise and no one in our group has received tags yet. We’re really not expecting them. We leave next Wednesday to head South, so have 4 mail days left.

Just wanted to let you know since we are on the same sailing I saw on our USPS daily email of incoming mail some luggage tags from DCL are coming today

A few in our Hawaii group (5/6 cruise) just got them. We have not yet. I did not receive them early in April for our Magic cruise but did for our January cruise. I do think the "upgrade" messed up so many things!!!!

We are on the 4/26 Vancouver to Honolulu cruise, leaving for Vancouver on Sunday. Two sets of luggage tags arrived in yesterday’s mail. Both sets have the correct stateroom number, but different bar codes.

Not the first time I've seen that either. Maybe its just better to get tags made by the porter at the Port!

We are on the 4/25 Dream sailing and received our luggage tags yesterday: less than a week before our cruise.

Ours too since we are leaving home 5 full days before cruise. I am not counting on them arriving in time.

I leave in 8 days and just received my luggage tags for one of my reservations. I have another reservation with the same mailing address that I am still waiting on
