the baby name story???

WELL
HOW appropriate is it that my DS - 3 1/3 INSISTS the new Baby's name is to be STICKA (remember I am from MA so we don't say our 'r's - lol)
Well the 'nickname has stuck and we continue to refer to the little guy/gal as Sticka!

I can relate. When I was pregnant with DD, my son Connor
(who was 18 months at the time) had a stuffed Elmo lovie blankie thing that he was CRAZY about. Every time we talked about baby names, he insisted that we name his sister "Elmo".
Okay, he was a little MORE than obsessed with Elmo at the time.

When DD finally arrived, for two solid months he wanted to send her back after he found out that we REALLY HAD named her Hannah Kate. He's four now, still sleeps with his stuffed lovie Elmo but at least he has accepted that his adorable little sister is Hannah Kate.

Matthew kisses Sticka, parks matchbox cars on my belly so Sticka can play with them etc... lol
