Have I gone crazy?

Ok, I was talking to a guy I work with about Disney World who just came back from a trip recently. He swears up and down that you can take a bus from one park to another. Can you?!?! I know you can't take them from resort to resort but I had no idea you could take them from park to park. Has something changed or has it always been this way? I'm so confused. I argued with him forever that the buses don't run park to park but then I started second guessing myself because I've never actually looked for a bus to another park when I'm at a park already. This would be very convenient for park hopping. But I don't think I've ever seen the little sign on the bus say "Magic Kingdom" when I'm waiting for a resort bus at Epcot. Someone help me please!!

I don't know about all the parks but I do know that there is a bus that goes from MGM to Epcot. Especially right before Illuminations.

Yes you can take a bus from park to park. At MK, the buses to other parks go from the TTC, that's why you don't see them at the MK bus stop.

However, there are no buses from park to DTD. There are only buses from resorts to DTD and back.

well i know on here people have said you can't but when we went in 04 you could ( i just looked at the transpotation map i got then to make sure and it says from mgm to epcot( ect ) take bus) so maybe something has change from then

Yes. This past week we took a bus from MGM to Epcot and another from Animal Kingdom to Epcot.

Goodness! We use them all the time - how else could you park hop?!?!?!?

We went from Epcot to AK, AK to MGM, and did the monorail from MK to Epcot. I hate that! I wish there was a direct bus to Epcot from MK. Up the ramp, then down the ramp, then up the ramp, then down the ramp . . .

I have always park hopped using the buses as far back as I can remember.

He may have gotten mixed up in the details (it isn't hard). Most likely he was thinking of the fact that you can't get from one resort to another directly via bus.

The only place you cannot get from to is Downtown Disney and the Waterparks from the theme parks. Maybe that is what he was thinking?

Obviously there is no bus from MK to Epcot (but there is the monorail). There used to be a bus from the TTC to Downtown Disney (not sure about other parks) but that was discontinued a few years ago.
