she had a tumour growing for about 4 weeks, but it had started to take over her entire leg and back. We have decided that she is going to be better off if we have her put to sleep, we had thought about surgery but the vet said that she probably wouldn't wake up from it.DMIL has agreed to take her as I can't cope with it at the moment, I have severe pregnancy hormones raging and was in tears watching Blue Peter the other day!
Any spare hugs going?

awww sorry about your poor hamster, the vet is quite right they just cannot tolerate anaesthetics so you have made the right choice
